I love Samui Sense. My third stay there. Very peaceful and close to everything. The manager Nina is a really lovely woman. The one downside is play awful music at the beach bar but they will turn out down if asked.

We had a relaxing 10 days on Koh Samui and are very happy we chose Samui Sense Beach Resort. We had a Villa very close to the pool and the room was clean and suited our needs beautifully. The only negatives were the bathroom was a bit outdated and the tv had no reception, but we weren't there to watch tv! The location was great, right on the beach on one side and a short 5 minute walk to central Lamai with all its awesome food, drink and shopping options on the other side. On returning the walk through the garden to get to our room was peaceful and gave us an immediate feeling of calm and a relaxed separation from the hustle and bustle of Lamai's main street which was just a few metres away. The staff were very friendly, responded immediately to any queries or requests we made and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay.

I just stayed two nights before moving to another hotel. On check out, there was a charge for 2 bottles of mineral water. I don't drink mineral water. Never have, never will. My fault. Didn't check the list ref fridge content on arrival. Pay the bill. Just a warning to others. "Check Everything".

Nice little resort right on beach.

A good quiet place to stay but walk out of hotel entrance straight into centre of Lamai, the best of both worlds. The staff in the hotel are great, really friendly and happy to chat. It’s on a nice stretch of beach which is clean, never a problem getting a lounger. I’ll say it again the staff are great, so helpful and welcoming. Beds could be a bit more comfortable is only minus thing I have to say.

Would go back!

The most amazing service and friendly staff. The hotel could do with a little updating, but the surrounding area is really picturesque. We had a BBQ evening there which unfortunately was hastily moved indoors because of rain, but they did it very well and the evening turned out great. The hotel is close to all restaurants and shopping in Lamai and right on the beach with fantastic service on the beach.

Great location

The superior rooms do not have a balcony and quite a small window, hence the rooms are very dark. There was a bit of dust and long hairs on the floor when we arrived. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The location, right on the beach, was wonderful. The pool was cool and uncrowded. The gardens and space around the resort were lovely. Breakfast which we had included was good, with enough variety. At the right price we would stay here again.

Not the best place to stay

Staff friendly & helpful though one of the night staff forgot to ring me with alarm call & it was a mad rush as a result Nina & Oaa were efficient & welcoming. Sumai Sense desperately needs a major refurbishment as it's shabby & dull. I paid too much for limited comfort.& facilities. The A/C unit was noisy necessitating wearing ear plugs! The area on the beach was unclean with plastics & other debris.
