We had a pretty horrible stay at this hotel. Firstly, we had selected the option to ‘Pay at Property’ when booking thru the hotels.com app, however was charged the full amount about 60 days prior to our trip without any notice. Second, we were denied check in because the card I brought on our trip was not the same card they charged for the stay. Apparently that is their policy and there was a lot of argument and the need to speak with a manager to be allowed into our room after 40 minutes of debate. Thirdly, there were so many prohibitive rules throughout the property: can’t take your tea with you after breakfast, ice with your coffee at breakfast cost extra, only 1 beach towel per guest per day, etc. As a result, our stay was NOT relaxing. We just worried about what we rule or policy we might break! Won’t go again.
