Great location, literally a few minutes walk from the ocean and the night food market. Staff were very helpful and Paddys restuarant had a great breakfast and a varuety of choices both western and eastern foods all of great quality.

I liked the bed, the pool, the pub next door and pool table and live sports on TVs. Paddy's rents scooters at a very reasonable weekly rate. I didn't like: 1) that there were no pool towels readily accessible; 2) my bathroom door shrieked when closing; 3) need a scooter to get to the beach; and 4) the ladies working the reception desk had very little customer service orientation or warmth. Otherwise, all things considered, Paddy's offers good value.

it was ok ,aircom ...not great ....had ground floor room at the back of pool everything just a little run down ,but apart from aircom everything worked fine ....i think you can get better for the price .....food in restaurant was nice ......staff very good ....rent a motor bike from resort no probs ....

Enjoyed our stay here,however the room (standard double) was dark and dingy,storage was poor we had to live out of cases for our 7day stay, only 4 coat hangers in the only closset,and over priced However we did overall enjoy our stay and the pool was good.

Decent for the price

Check in was smooth and friendly. The room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony and large screen TV. The wifi was adequate if you were using a mobile but useless for my laptop. ( I work online, so need internet access). The only way to connect, was to go into the pub next door, as that's where the router is. There isn't one in the hotel, hence the iffy signal. The biggest disappointment was the shower, or should I say dripping shower head. There wasn't even enough pressure to get any spray out of it. The manager, Mike, was quick on the scene to try and solve the issue and after a while, we had a shower that was better, but still only just strong enough to wash under. The food in the pub was excellent. I recommend the home made pies. In conclusion, Paddy's is in a good location with great food and service. They just need to fix the water pressure and the wifi. They are the only reason I wouldn't stay here again.

OK, but slightly overpriced

Friendly staff on reception. Large room, slightly dark cos of restricted view through window. TV reception poor. Safety box behind reception on ground floor.. Unattended after 10pm which didn't seem secure. A robbery waiting to happen there. Anyone with a crowbar and a truck can disappear with everyone's safety boxes in 30 secs flat! Swimming pool nice enough and location was good. Disappointing breakfast. Better book without and go somewhere else. Standard rooms have virtually no natural light. Deluxe overpriced at 1250bt. there's better value elsewhere

Quite lovely and super handy

I was pleasantly surprised and a bit disappointed at same time. Room was very clean and and super comfortable also it was extra convenient due to its location as right on main street with all food and shops you need , beach 10 minutes walk away. Behind hotel there are large hills covered with greenery. Disappointing was my room didn't have mountain view but I still enjoy it and staff was very kind and food in restaurant was great. Definitely recommen. Just ask for mountain view room!

Nice hotel walking distance to what you want

My second stay here and everything just as good as first. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Deluxe room was really good. Breakfast was great. Only one minor problem and that is wifi in top floor room not very good. But with that said I would stay here again. In fact it will be my first choice if I come back to Koh Chang.

Lovely large rooms

Great value for money. Large room. Located on main road on White Sands. Nice bar/restaurant next door showing football. Walking distance to everywhere in White Sands. Cheap scooters for rent at hotel. Next time I would rather stay at Lonely beach as White sands was quiet & beach difficult to access.

Nice hotel close to beach

While the hotel is a bit dated I found my room to be clean,tidy and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and the room was serviced well every day. It was an easy 10 minute walk down to White sand beach and there was lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking. The local bar area is within 5 minutes walk. The hotel was really well located. The breakfasts were really nice and the pool area was great. Thoroughly recommend this hotel to everyone. Great value for money.

Nice Hotel it wasn't luxury but it was value for money one criticism there wasn't any porters to help carry bags etc The breakfast was adequate again value for money when considering the price you pay for the rooms. White Sands beach is within easy walking distance as are bars and restaurants, shops etc

Very bad experience on check-in. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. On check-in we were first told that we can only have the 2 rooms for the first night and need to move to an other hotel for the second night.
