I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were the best part. So friendly and welcoming. They waited on us hand and foot and no request was too much for them. They were just amazing and made us feel like celebrities. The room was beautiful with amazing views. Absolutely spotless as well. Thanks so much for having us!!!

The staff was phenomenal. The property itself is very nice in a very nice neighborhood overlooking the bay. We were treated as good as I've ever been treated. Very clean. The staff was exceedingly friendly. They even washed our car as it was dirty. There was tea hour. Later a happy hour. They arranged dinner reservations and transportations. Definitely a five-star property.

We loved our stay at this beautiful, boutique hotel! Our room had beautiful views, and was well equipped with all the luxuries including a small bottle of delicious sherry. The hosts and staff were wonderful and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and there was also afternoon tea and happy hour in the main lounge. Why stay at boring hotels when you can stay at these unique special places. We will be back ! Thank you Ross and Bianca and the entire staff !

Honeymoon week at villa afrikana

The stay was exceptional in the sense that the hosts really care about your day. Everything was so clean and the breakfast was simply world class. We also loved the view of knysna everyday. Seriously the best view in town. We had our honeymoon there and we were treated with absolute TLC all the way.

Lovely hotel with fantastic personalised service. Would suggest more hot meal options for breakfast. Also no lift in the hotel which could be an issue for some. However the staff was very helpful with the luggage. Would suggest an intercom or phone in the room to contact the reception.

A wonderful stay in Knysner

Excellent place to stay. We stayed in the Phantom Suite. The whole place runs like clockwork, is stylishly furnished and decorated with great attention to detail, lovely breakfasts, good WiFi and first class service. Highly recommended.

Excellent up-market guest suites with amazing views over Knysna. Modern design throughout with a very comfortable outdoor seating / pool area. Great service and really enjoyed the amazing breakfast served outside by the pool. Gave us lots of tips for local restaurants (they arrange the booking and taxi transportation), as well as route ideas to our next stop. Only stayed one night, but would have liked to have stayed longer (fell in love with Knysna and all it‘s life). Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place to stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the entire place was spotless. Rooms were great, as was the breakfast which the staff set up in your room every morning - a real treat. My only small criticism was that the service was a little intense at points - often two or three people hovering next to you in any communal area was a little awkward and overwhelming.
