Amazing private mountain getaway! I booked a last minute 3 day weekend the first weekend in November. Hiked the Hanging Rock State Park which was about a 10 minute drive from the loft. The loft itself is very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable with futon and smart tv conveniently located in the same area. Kitchen was simple but all essentials included. Outdoor space was absolutely gorgeous-huge private space for my dogs to explore, great walking trail around perimeter of the farm, firepit, gated outdoor deck just outside of the bedroom. It was so refreshing. Laurel lives nearby and was an accessible & gracious host. Really made me feel like family. Excited to return next year!

We enjoyed our stay at the Barn Loft and found that it was a easy, short drive to both Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain. Laurel was very responsive to questions. The cabin was private, clean, comfortable and very quiet.

Views were spectacular, and the weather was beautiful for our 5 days stay. This farm is in the most beautiful location for the mountain views. The barn loft is very clean and well prepared for your stay. They have thought of everything that you may need to make your stay an excellent one!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property. From the moment we arrived, it matched the listing perfectly. The views were beautiful, and we loved starting our mornings with coffee on the porch. The location was ideal, and the well-marked one-mile walking trail was a highlight — we even spotted a deer and plenty of birds to add to our birding app.Laurel was friendly, responsive, and went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing Views

I stayed here with my son to celebrate my birthday. We needed a quiet and relaxing getaway and this was the perfect place to do that. I was really pleased with how clean and organized everything was. Also the views were AMAZING! Laurel was really nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful piece of land overlooking mountains and pastures. We were there to hike and found the location perfect! After a long hike we came back to gorgeous grounds- Easy to grill out with views on all side. Owner was easy to communicate with. We would stay here again :)

Dog friendly

Beautiful property. My dogs and grand kids had a great time running on the property. Very dog friendly. Laurel was a very responsive host. The futon was not comfortable to sleep on. If you are a couple traveling with pets and small children it is perfect!
