Nice bay side location

A very nice, clean, well stocked rental. Quiet neighborhood.The house was a little further from the beach and the main OBX than I thought, but overall a great vacation spot.

Everything was great! Beautiful views, convenient location, cute little house and porch that had everything we needed. We were happy to be able to bring our elderly dog along too. The house wasn’t ready at check in but we moved past that and enjoyed a wonderful week!! Would stay again if we come back to this area.

Perfect beach getaway

I couldn’t recommend this place higher, from the extremely welcoming host to the beautiful views it was pretty close to perfect. It was extremely quiet and the people there are so nice and friendly. The home was so clean and the beds were so comfortable, we slept like babies all week long. We would recommend this place to any and everyone who has a smaller group and wants comfort and scenic views, all while enjoying everything OBX has to offer. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Perfect for Extended Weekend with Friends

Great location and the house has everything you could possibly need! We rented kayaks, and we had so much fun kayaking up and down the canals. It being pet friendly was also a plus! Only thing was our sheets and pillow cases had weird black markings all over them, so we were not sure how well they were cleaned. It wasn’t that big of a deal to us, though!

Lovely house with awesome yard/screened in porch.

The house was as described. Lovely, clean, and great neighborhood. We had a rainy two days during our stay so the screened in porch was a great bonus. We could still be outside but dry. Owner also checked on us. Nice touch! Would recommend for a family.

Wonderful home!

Everything was perfect. Everything we needed or could need was there for us. Coffee, tea, spices, linens, etc. The view was awesome and my fiancé and I reconnected in a very special way while there. Magical week!

Relaxing Stay!

Great weekend getaway!

My friend and I wanted a quiet, relaxing retreat where we could just sit, chat, sip wine and enjoy the view. This house was perfect for us. We spent a lot of time in the backyard, sitting by the water, or on the screened porch. The area was remarkably quiet. The house is clean and well equipped. Bedrooms were comfortable. Loved the fans and individual AC units in each room! Barbara was very easy to work with. I hope to return again in the future.

Enjoyable stay at Colington Harbour, NC

Our family of six (6) really enjoyed ourselves in Colington Harbour at this lovely beach front property. It was clean & well-maintained. We were three (3) couples (brothers & their wives) that got together for the weekend for fun, fishing & driving on beach. We literally just walked out the back door to the water. Everything you wished for was within a mile or so...great restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Wright Brothers Musuem was well worth the visit & that too was about 5 miles away. The cottage has all the amenities needed (i.e., disherwasher, plates, cups, silverware, refrigerator & washer/dryer). There are two (2) nice bedrooms (one has a half-bath). There is a pullout couch, but bring a topper if you are older! We purchased food to cook on grill provided in the back one evening. There is a screened-in back porch where we spent plenty of time lounging around & tasting different spirits. Check-in was very easy. Host provided all instructions to gain access to cottage & how to get the permit for entry into the gated community well in advance of arrival. We loved our neighbor & even one long-time resident came to say hello & chatted for awhile. Such a friendly neighborhood. The Host (Ms. Barbara) was responsive when texted & checked on us to see if everything was to our liking. All-in-all, when everyone's schedules permit, we plan to return for much longer than a weekend!

Our Vacation

We enjoyed our stay so much and loved the screened in porch.It was easy access for our dog as he is old and has arthritis, so just a few stairs was perfect.Perfect quite location for us which is just what we were looking for.
