The pilot light wasn't lit, tried to light it by the metal tag instructions and owner's book. No Joy. Still had a wonderful time, looking forward spending our summer vacation at this rental.

My husband and I and our little dog spent a week at this wonderful little cottage in Kill Devil Hills, NC. This was the perfect place for us. We were able to visit the Wright Brother Memorial, spent an evening at the Elizabethan Gardens viewing the Winter-Lights display (which I highly recommend during a Christmas visit) and made a trip to Fort Raleigh where we learned about the Roanoke Lost Colony. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had everything that we needed. It sat right on a water canal and had the most beautiful view. The evenings were cold and so we enjoyed the sweet little fireplace every evening. The bed was very comfortable and there was an abundance of dishware to include wine glasses. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant and it was close to shopping, restaurants and fast food establishments. Our host Barbara was attentive to our needs and answered our questions quickly. This was the first time we had visited the Outer Banks and based on this visit we will definitely return. I highly recommend this little cottage during your visit to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

This was the cutest, most comfortable place! We absolutely loved the screen porch. The beds were comfy. The neighborhood was quiet. We felt safe being in a gated community! The host checked in with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction! We will be back!

Home was cute, generally clean. Detail cleaning could be used. The area was beautiful and we saw jellyfish by the dock! VERY quiet neighborhood with friendly people! Communication could have been a bit better, but owner is friendly.

A very nice, clean, well stocked rental. Quiet neighborhood.The house was a little further from the beach and the main OBX than I thought, but overall a great vacation spot.

Everything was great! Beautiful views, convenient location, cute little house and porch that had everything we needed. We were happy to be able to bring our elderly dog along too. The house wasn’t ready at check in but we moved past that and enjoyed a wonderful week!! Would stay again if we come back to this area.

Perfect beach getaway

I couldn’t recommend this place higher, from the extremely welcoming host to the beautiful views it was pretty close to perfect. It was extremely quiet and the people there are so nice and friendly. The home was so clean and the beds were so comfortable, we slept like babies all week long. We would recommend this place to any and everyone who has a smaller group and wants comfort and scenic views, all while enjoying everything OBX has to offer. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Perfect for Extended Weekend with Friends

Great location and the house has everything you could possibly need! We rented kayaks, and we had so much fun kayaking up and down the canals. It being pet friendly was also a plus! Only thing was our sheets and pillow cases had weird black markings all over them, so we were not sure how well they were cleaned. It wasn’t that big of a deal to us, though!

Lovely house with awesome yard/screened in porch.

The house was as described. Lovely, clean, and great neighborhood. We had a rainy two days during our stay so the screened in porch was a great bonus. We could still be outside but dry. Owner also checked on us. Nice touch! Would recommend for a family.
