Walk to the mouth of the Kenai River (1.5 mile) where you can have a fire, do some work class fishing and take in breathtaking views of Mount Redoubt and the Kenai Mountains. There is a public park just before the beach with picnic tables, grills, basketball court and playground equipment. Groceries, bars, restaurants, local attractions and airport just 5 minutes away.

Kenai alaska

Had to contact host for check in info. Didn’t get in until 45 minutes after check-in time. Host did refund us for this day. Internet didn’t work for a day. Tv didn’t work for 2 1/2 days (15 messages with owner before fixed). Cleanliness an issue. Floors turned our feet black when barefoot. Crumbs in cupboards and all dishes were greasy and needed to be washed before use. Listing states outdoor area and a grill. Outdoor area unkempt and only 1 chair provided. Grill is a community grill that you have to search for. Maintenance person informed us of this as there wasn’t any information in the unit. Maintenance person was informed of the cleanliness of the unit and the lack of any information in the unit. He stated he would relay this information but we weren’t contacted about our concerns. Listing shows a picture of one building but it’s actually an unit in a building amongst 4 other residential buildings.
