Gorgeous location and nice unit, but needed a bit of attention. The unit is missing many of the window screens and the screen door. This meant we had problems with mosquitos. Also, the pullout couch is completely worn out and broken. We did eventually find another bed in a hutch, but we didn't know how to use the frame and ended up just putting the mattress on the living room floor. We had trouble finding the bedding to make up this mattress, but eventually found it in another hutch (in a section of the tv entertainment cabinet-- keeping all the extra sheets and blankets in the upstairs closet would be more intuitive). The unit could have been better appointed for the price. For example, the beach umbrella is broken and is missing its main post. (The management told us that they should have removed the umbrella because they don't supply beach gear.) The towel hanger in the downstairs bathroom falls off the wall and is not usable. The light over the stairs is burned out. The clock on the wall has no batteries (or is broken). Overall, we had a nice time, but the unit needs some maintenance and could be a little better appointed, given most people will stay for a short vacation and will need beach accessories and the like.

The condo was a bit dated but clean and beautiful view. Good service from the manager, online process was excellent. Condo could use more glasses and the TV switching between streaming and cable did not work without special handling not shown in the condo guide.

Beautiful ocean front condo without the crowds!

This was our first time staying in Kapalua! We loved it. The condo had beautiful views and the property management was super responsive. Clean and property looks like it does in the photos! We also like the quietness of the property but still close to many restaurants. We also though the beach which is about a 5 min walk was quite and beautiful.

Spectacular views from the condo, staff was helpful and professional, when making changes to the reservation or providing property related services. Access to area beaches as in close proximity to the condo. Overall a pleasant experience. We look forward to returning soon. God Bless the residents of Lahaina and Maui!

Great location

Beaches in the area are great for swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling. Within proximity to Kapalua golf courses and not far from Kaanapali. Napila market is conveniently located for groceries, beer or wine. Condo has great views of the ocean but is a little tired and could use some new furnishings.

condo has an amazing view!

This condo had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Kapalua! Kitchen was well-appointed, bed was comfy and the view was spectacular! Our pool was pretty quiet and often had only 1 or 2 others besides ourselves. It was a wonderful vacation!

Maui vacation

Lovely place... killer view, mind blowing to watch whales spout from your bedroom, and lovely grounds of the resort. We tried to do it all from this location and this was the best by far of our 4 visits to the island. The apartment was exactly as advertised, although the pandemic has left it with some deferred maintenance that needs to be addressed: it is all pretty minor in the grand scheme, but it needs to be addressed.

Gorgeous views and great location!

Overall I would highly recommend this property; however, there were a few things that were a bit disappointing. The views are incredible, location is great, and the pools and grounds are wonderful! We were a bit disappointed in the fact that the property listed a pullout couch in the living room, but when we arrived we were surprised to see that while the couch does pull out, there is no mattress in there making it unusable. Additionally for such a great and high end property, we would have expected a bit more of a fully stocked kitchen (i.e. the silverware set was short many pieces, mix matched glasses, etc), not a huge deal. The master upstairs is incredible and was a beautiful oasis. Overall I’d recommend the place, but would suggest some updates/restocking of items.

Location could not be better, oceanfront and two beaches a short walk away. Kapalua Bay great for beach and snorkeling to the left, another quieter beach a few min walk to the right. Also DT Fleming, perfect for longer morning walk (10-15 min), great large beach (best to drive with beach gear). Quiet top floor unit, amazing sunrise views. Very comfortable bed, furniture, baths, etc. I've read some of the other reviews, did not use the stove so cannot comment, but someone commented about the blinds - very minor issue not a real problem. A/C, TV, wifi etc all worked great. I don't think you are going to find a better deal at this location (check prices at Ritz and Montage for comparison). Had a great time and would love to go back tomorrow!

Great Views

This villa is located oceanfront with spectacular views. Check-in and check-out was super easy and staff I interacted with were friendly and promptly responded to any question or concern. The unit is in need of some TLC...the stovetop has a significant crack and we couldn’t use. As another reviewer noted, some of the blinds are broken and doors need sealing as it does get super windy on this part of the island. Paint is peeling here and there, sofa needs cleaned, etc. I notified management of the stove and was told the owners are aware. All in all it was a fine place to stay, and you can’t beat the views, but for the money I would probably look elsewhere next time. Our friends rented a villa in the building next door and you could tell the difference in ownership immediately.

Great views

Location is great, wonderful views. Condo needs many repairs, broken blinds in master bedroom and sliding door downstairs doesn't seal properly, and many screens need replacement. Notified management and was told owners are aware of it, but still hasn't been fixed.

Dream vacation.......

My husband and I live on island and scheduled our stay at this lovely condo to celebrate a special occasion. We could not have picked a better place. We are very familiar with the Kapalua area and cannot recommend the location or amenities of this particular condo more highly. The water views are spectacular from both the lower and upper floors as the condo is located in the front row of the Kapalua Bay Villas with no other structures in front of it. It is located just steps away from the beautiful Kapalua coastal trail as well as a very short walk from Kapalua Bay and Oneloa Bay, both a couple of my favorite beaches on Maui. The bed was super comfortable, kitchen well stocked, everything was extremely clean, and an additional unexpected bonus was the ocean facing lanai situated right off of the master bedroom, a perfect place to curl up with a book after a day out and about. The air conditioner also works beautifully, which makes for a comfortable stay during the summer months. A big mahalo to Valerie who made the reservation and self check-in process so easy and was available if I needed anything. We had a wonderful stay, can’t wait to return!
