Located in the luxurious gated Fairways at Mauna Lani community, surrounded by beautiful tropical landscaping, and a short stroll away from the exquisite pool with waterfall. Enjoy listening to the tropical birds and the breeze blowing through the palm trees while sipping your favorite cocktail on the private lanai with built in BBQ, dining area and cozy lounge chairs.

Mauna Lani Fairways 1601 is the perfect spot to enjoy your vacation on the beautiful island of Hawaii. The location is spectacular, including its proximity to coastal walking paths, some of the best snorkeling on the island just a short stroll away, access to the private and gated Beach Club, and world-renowned golf courses.

You will enjoy the comfortable open floor plan with kitchen, dining, living room and a large lanai with outdoor kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped for all of your needs and features granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. The spacious living room with vaulted ceiling has plenty of seating for your family and a flat screen TV equipped with cable. The dining area seats 4, plus 2 bar stools at the kitchen counter. This home is designed for up to 4 guests, with separate sleeping areas on the first and second floor. The large main upstairs bedroom includes a King-sized bed and ensuite large bathroom, with separate jetted tub and shower, a Smart TV for streaming your favorite programs or movies, and private balcony overlooking the tropical gardens. The Downstairs bedroom features two twin beds, and Smart TV for streaming. Directly next to the downstairs bedroom is a bathroom with tub/shower combo. Modern conveniences such as WiFi, central air conditioning, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a private garage will make your stay comfortable and convenient. Please note that the garage sizes are small & will accommodate compact to midsize cars only.

The Fairways at Mauna Lani complex sprawls over 20 acres and includes a tropical free-form 75,000 gallon pool with attached keiki (kiddie) pool and a beautiful spa with flowing waterfall. Your vacation at the Fairways includes access to the spectacular gated Beach Club. The Beach Club is a short 2 miles away, and features a pristine white sand beach, lifeguard on duty, and the Napua restaurant. The snorkeling at the Beach Club offers some of the best snorkeling on the island in a protected cove. The Beach Club offers also features lounge chairs and a grassy lawn. You can also access beach toys, including kayaks, snorkeling equipment and stand-up paddle boards for rent. For workout enthusiasts, the Fairways Fitness Center features machines for cardio and weight training. Unique features we love are the two fruit gardens with bananas, lemons, mangos, avocados and papayas and an herb garden with a variety of herbs. A short drive away are six of the best beaches in Hawaii, including Hapuna Beach, Beach 69, and the Mauna Kea Beach. The Kohala Coast also features seven golf courses within 7 miles of Sandy Feet Retreat.

We love our location on the Kohala Coast due to its proximity to the most beautiful beaches on the island, excellent snorkeling nearby, the clean and quiet atmosphere, and delicious restaurants a short walk away.

Beautiful Condo, great location!

We loved the location- easy drive to the best beaches and the north end of the island. The condo was clean, and instructions were clear. There is a grocery just down the road. Kids loved the pool, and the private beach access was great for the first day to get the kids used to snorkeling.

Beautiful condo

We’ve stayed at the Mauna Lani Fairways several times and love it there. This condo,1601, was our favorite. Will definitely return to this one! Everything has been updated. The decor is beachy with soothing colors. Gorgeous, practical wood-look vinyl floors throughout. (I always wondered about having carpet in a house near a beach!) The house is furnished everything we needed. We love having access to the beach club and bay nearby (you do have to drive a few minutes to it.) We get to the beach early, grab a cabana, and snorkel off and on all morning. It is the best snorkeling… easy entry, no waves, clear smooth water and an abundance of marine life to view. We’ll be back!

Anniversary Getaway

My wife and I enjoyed a week at the Fairways at Mauna Lani and the accommodations and location were excellent. The condo was very well maintained and up to date, and we especially liked the size of the primary bedroom and bathroom and kitchen/dining/living areas. The community was quiet, secure and nicely landscaped and the pool and hot tub were very nearby. The real bonus was having access to the Beach Club, about 2 miles away by car. The condo did provide beach chairs and we used these at both the Beach Club and other public beaches. The condo is very close to a small Mauna Lani shopping area, with a good grocery store and Snorkel Bob's. It was also very easy to get to beaches for snorkeling and hiking and golf courses. The communication before arrival was excellent and the Kona Concierge was available for answering our questions prior to the trip. Overall, we were very pleased with the condo and the Fairways community. We would definitely rent here again.

Nicely updated and well supplied with everything necessary for a great stay. Comfortable community, with grocery just 1/3 mile away. Quiet lanai and nice pool/spa area. Beach club access was wonderful with a calm bay for snorkeling, swimming, SUP, etc. Would absolutely stay again. Good communication from renter regarding check in and out. We had one question which was quickly answered by their representative.

Very comfortable stay!

Condo was spotless, beds very comfortable and parking was easy. Everything in working order. We appreciated the beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. An ice chest would have been nice, but we picked one up at the market that worked just fine for our stay. We enjoyed the pool as well as the beach club and close proximity to the market. We had lots of fun exploring the Kohala area. Would stay here again!

This was one of the cleanest rentals I’ve stayed at. The development is very quiet and peaceful. We were very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need including beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. We used the grill several times. The proximity to shops was great and access to the beach was a highlight.

My family and I loved our stay at this townhouse. The property was exactly as depicted. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped. There’s a grocery store less than 5 minutes away, making it easy for us to cook dinners at home. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkeling fins (for 1-2 people) in the garage that were really helpful. But the absolute best part of this rental is the access to the beach club. It was the best beach we went to (and we went to several on the Kona side). The snorkeling was fantastic! We saw a wide variety of fish and swam alongside a sea turtle! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Everything was good. Excellent communication with property manager (hat tip to Mckensie at Kona Coast). Only slight downside was a bit of confusion on where to park (very minor comment). Property was nice and as advertised.
