"This hotel is top notch. Beyond beautiful with wonderful amenities. There are 3 hot tubs and a sauna with beautiful views. There is also a small pond to take a cold dip in if you dare! The breakfast was delicious and the service was wonderful. The lobby is beautiful and a comfortable place to hang out in. Parking is included.
The room was spacious and quiet. The bathroom was perfect and the coffee in the room was appreciated. It was replenished each day. The room cleaning service was also very nice.
The only con for us was the room had a strong smell like body odor. It was extremely apparent as soon as we opened the door. We debated on informing the hotel but thought it would be remedied by opening the window. It was not fixed by opening the window. We then thought it was too late to inform the staff. This con is slightly on us for not informing staff. But we were tired when we arrived and didn’t feel like dealing with it.
However, the bottom line is that this hotel is beautiful, with great service, and I would highly recommend staying here for a luxurious experience in a remote part of Iceland.
