Our Whale House Cottage is a rare find in Kona. There are many ocean view homes in Kona but very few beach front properties. You can walk out the front door through lush landscape or lay in bed to watch the beautiful sunsets.
On the semi-private beach you can wade in the water or drop yourself in the sand and watch the whales, dolphins and the tropical Hawaiian fish. Turtles find this beach a quiet and peaceful resting place so enjoy them from a distance as they sleep on the sand. Rare monk seals come here to bring their young as it is a quite peaceful beach.

Sit and have dinner on the private lanai with fan above you to help you stay cool on warm days.
We are very close to the forest for hiking and Kona town is a 10 minute drive. Kahaluu is a 2 minute drive to some of the best snorkeling on the island. Restaurants, movie theater and shops are walking distance away and farmers markets are open every Saturday with Hula on Friday nights up the street so you can walk with your drinks.
On property we have gear for you to do volley ball , pickle ball and tennis. There are also BBQ's. for your freshly caught fish or grass fed local beef.
