Memorable

This stay was incredible. As soon as we walked in the place I was an awe. It was so organized and clean. The view was just breathtaking. Pictures do no justice. The condos were quiet it was so relaxing. They provided the necessary basics for a week. Also a folder with information on how to work things and recommendations Afro restaurants. I loved this stay.

Scenic porch clean safe environment

Spacious home base to come back to after exploring the big island. Kitchen well stocked with tools but no spices. Beds are comfortable but main a/c sort of struggled to keep cool. Overall this location is updated comfortable and serene mornings and sunsets on the lanai

Great base for Hawaii adventures

The unit is 90% perfect. With a beautiful view, the lanai was our favorite spot. The kitchen is well appointed with rice cooker, instant pot, blender and coffee maker but there were no spices, etc. (Just pointing that out for next guests who are wondering.) The beach supplies (chairs, towels, umbrellas, cooler) made our vacation so GREAT. My only caveat is that the condo gets VERY warm in the afternoons and the air-conditioning units can't quite cool things off until dawn. I specifically need a/c, and searched for rentals with it, due to a medical condition which is the reason I'm mentioning this for future possible bookings. There are multiple ceiling fans and two plug-in fans that make the temperature fine. And honestly, the VIEW makes it all worthwhile!!!

Great Place in a Great Location

The apartment is just as described in the listing. It’s perfectly furnished and has all the appointments to make your trip great. Clean and located on a great property with amazing views and walkable beach access. Convenient to shopping and a grocery store but quiet and very private.

QUIET! UPDATED! CLEAN!

Great stay, clean, well supplied(however, NO coffee, staples of food , only salt/pepper) quick response for no toiletries that should have been there. Much communication, almost too much, but helpful. Much driving, nothing within easy walking area.

Hawaii Vacation

Great location in gated community. Location was quiet and relaxing with spectacular ocean sunsets right from the lanai. The unit served as our base for exploring the island and was nice to come back to a quiet location in the evenings.

Everything was perfect in this facility. The only issue I had was the lack of a deadbolt lock on the door. Absolutely never felt ill at ease in the facility or on the facility grounds. Just a personal issue I have with wanting a deadbolt. The host had enough items needed like trash bags and toilet paper, unlike the last place we stayed. Would highly recommend this property.

Everything was wonderful

I travel a lot and have a very high standard of cleanliness which most places don't meet. This condo may be the only place that has ever met it. Amazingly clean Please keep up this high standard and I'll be back. The kitchen was fully equipped with any utensil you would need, even a salad spinner! Once again amazing! The decor and upkeep of the condo are once again amazing! I went with my mom and I loved having two bathrooms in the condo and the beds were comfortable. The view was amazing. We ate dinner every night watching the sunset. Also, we went in August and I can't imagine not having AC. For us, it was worth every additional penny this cost over a place without AC. I will be back!

Overall great stay

The property was wonderful both inside and outside. The deck was extremely inviting as it overlooked the ocean with great views. This condo was very clean and it had a large number of amenities available, including spices and condiments in the kitchen. The management company (Kona Coast Vacations) communicated with us very well and provided a local Concierge service to aid planning. One significant negative is the lack of privacy in the unit stemming from doors that are shutter style allowing sounds between the bedrooms and bathrooms. This is the only reason to not give an overall review of 5 as the sounds between the rooms made everyone uncomfortable. It would be a great property for a couple. One minor issue is the lack of a reading light in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a floor fan, but would benefit from a ceiling fan. Overall, this was a wonderful stay. The condo is beautiful and generally matches the online photos. Finally, the location is excellent for proximity to Kona, restaurants, and activities.

Beautiful Unit…Beautiful Grounds

The property was absolutely perfect for our family of four. There were so many additional appointments that we weren’t even expecting (fully stocked kitchen appliances and utensils/cookware, scale that helped with making sure our bags were within weight, umbrellas, cooler, beach chairs…)! Super clean and very spacious. I know some reviews complained about the geckos but this in a very lush tropical area and that’s just part of the landscape. The geckos that we saw were super small and super cute. Overall we were very impressed and will definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to travel to the big island.
