We were surprised to see cracked floor tile in the room, the bathroom had water damage and they painted over wall paper to cover it, the a/c was programes to go up in temperature every night, it was so bad that I had to wake up a 5:00am each day to lower the temperature and the worst part was when these issues were brought up management of the facility was totally unwilling to help or offer any type of credit. Do not stay at this place.

All was great. There was one staff member that was trying hard sale for us to become Shell customers right after we checked in. We were tired and my husband was handicapped and we just wanted to get to our room. After telling her 5 times we just needed to go, I finally just walked away. Hard sale does not work for most people. It ends up casting a bad light on your staff.

Our stay was great! We loved the location, the size of the apartment, the updated look, that there were 2 restrooms and a full sized kitchen! We prepared most of our meals daily and enjoyed the live music and bar area in the evenings. We also got to enjoy a hula show out on the lawn facing the beach that performs on Mondays. I would definitely stay again! The only downside is the sofabed. It was very uncomfortable so we 3 of us slept on the large bed and 1 brave person stuck it out on that sofabed. That was my only complaint. Mahalo!

Enjoyed our stay at Kona Resort! Very clean property. The grounds are very well kept and we enjoyed our garden/water view from inside our room. The resort offers great activities and there was a wonderful hula show one of the nights!

Spacious room, resort very clean and well maintained. Eish the rooms had chaira to take to the beach than other resoets offer. Hot tub wasnt really hot and a little cloudy. It is a time share property and they make you hear a sales pitch upon check in and swore they arent pushy but they called my room day 2 and were pushy then called my cell phone on day 3. Do not appriciate this "not pushy" approach on vacation

For the price, it is a great deal. Large units with two nice pools. Just be prepared to turn down the Time Share meeting solicitation when you get the pool key and you will have a fabulous time.
