Stayed with family in a 1-bedroom unit. Configuration is two single beds in a separate bedroom, and a double and a single in the main room. This room was in the rear of the property so away from the main road and so we weren't bothered by any noise from the road. The room was tidy, clean, and with lots of space. Good TV options. The only thing missing is that without net curtains on the front door and windows keeping the place private requires having the main curtains closed which makes it quite dark inside. Would definitely stay again.

Great value for a restful night’s sleep

Great value in a recently remodeled, very comfortable motel, about five minutes drive from town center and two block walk from the ocean. Manager extremely responsive to our every request and tips for the best restaurant (Pier Hotel) serving crayfish, a local favorite, including getting a great table with a view. The rooms face the parking lot, but the price saving over waterfront view hotels more than paid for our upscale dinner. Kaikoura has a great seaside vibe and just enough to do without being overcrowded. Would definitely stay here again.
