Not a classy joint but a very personable one filled with kindness humor and helpful folks."Donato" up front is so fun and full of light with tips on places to eat, treats and how to handle the summer outside bugs if having to go out after dusk. My only peeve is the broken lock, I had one only, but donato put me right next to the office and it's well lit. He advised me about the security cameras running 24/7 .... Advising that somebody is always watching the place...so I feel safe plus I've piled up all the chairs and the desk and everything against the door LOL..... The shower was small, but had WONDERFUL water pressure super nice and warm and hot shower, nice soaps and shampoos...... Ther bed was extrememly firm, some like that....... I am definitely going to stay here again on my way back thru and I always travel to California every couple of years for family stuff, this will be my go-to spot now.... Again it's not a high class place but it's a place I'm feeling very comfortable and I've been to a lot of motels across the west US and this one just feels right. It's got a nice fridge, microwave and DirecTV channels..... No boxed tissues, no blow dryer. It's a short walk or drive to the gas station with a Sonic inside the station and next to a restaurant which closes kind of early., everything you need..... If you're coming in the summer the office was a little bit humid and uncomfortable, but the room was icy cool. Thanks Donato for making me feel so safe and welcome.

The motel is a little “rough around the edges,” but the owner/front-desk man (I think he was the owner) told me he is updating the property. There were new furnishings stockpiled in the lobby for the rooms. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The front-desk guy brought us extra towels and coffee for the coffee maker, and even gave us microfiber cloths to clean our motorcycle gear. Very nice of him to do that! I recommend the Segovia Lodge as a nice, comfortable, and economical place to stay while traveling through Junction, Texas.
