We stayed for a week with our two kids aged 11 and 15. The accessibility to Joshua tree was fabulous allowing early morning and late night trips into the park for sunrise, sunset and stargazing. The house is spacious and would easily accommodate a group larger than ours. The house is well equip for short stays with a coffee machine, plates, cup, glasses etc, but for longer stays such as ours was not equip for making family meals. Cooking implements were limited for even basic needs. We had specifically booked a house after a week spent in hotels to be able to cook and enjoy family time. The house could use a little TLC as there were areas where things were broken (kitchen cupboards, VCR, hammocks, sunloungers) or simply needed cleaning up and a refresh (HVAC filter and back garden in general). The photos supplied on the listing appear to be at least a few years old. Other houses we have rented have provided a folder with restaurant recommendations, local sightseeing trip recommendations, local Drs and medical providers for emergencies and information relating to the property which would have been a great addition in this property.Overall we had a pleasant stay at Joshua Tree.
