Massive villa with stunning view

The place is massive, top notch comfortable bed and proper private pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing taht could be improved is amenities like shower gel, shampoo etc. But other than that everything is absolutely exceeding our expectations! We will come back.

The villa was very big and with a nice swimming pool, we wish the place was a bit cleaner. Also the whole place is on a very steep hill so sometimes the taxi drivers won’t drive up to pick us up.

A great place to stay and a nice garden

We stayed for a couple of nights and it was a great experience overall. Our private infinity pool wasn't filled up and needed some service and maintenance. It was fine as we got to use one of the other ones instead with better view. Breakfast was OK, nothing special or anything, with the choice of four types of menus. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to try the in-house massages as they were fully booked while we were there. The garden area is big and very ideal for kids to play and run around. Easy access and good views from all the suites. All in all a good place to stay and very family friendly.

Excellent villa

Room was clean. Staff were responsive. Pool was beautiful for a quick dip. Cheap 15min taxi ride to the Jimbaran. Living area absolutely huge; perfect for a group of friends. Breakfast options are very disappointing. The only thing that looked edible was the boiled eggs. Fortunately plenty of nearby options!

Cozy villa with great view and spacious

Overall experience staying in the villa is great. With the super spacious living room and bed room, and a private pool with great view. Garden is just a step away from the villa, suitable for family vacation or couple just to chill in the villa whole day. Although there is some issue on the water supply, the staffs respond to the issue in a quick and patience manner. Highly recommended to stay here for the environment and helpful staffs.

Room is spacious and 5 star facility. They serve in room breakfast. Location is kind of far, 30 mins to Jimbaran and steep hills.

Good renovation but worst service. Avoid it!

This hotel covers the two extremes: it has very good renovated apartment but its service is the worst in any standard. Imagine it has no staff in the reception area and no one answer the call regardless of what time we are calling? I understand they only have four or five staff in total but shortage of staff is absolutely not an excuse of poor service! We have called direct to their Hotel Manager Mr Budi. But he left office every day at 5pm! And his staff needs to find him for any trivial thing but he never promptly replies his staff or us! Imagine how scarcely it will be as the apartment is on a hill and if there are any accident occurs in the hotel, who can save us?! If the hotel has zero commitment to serve their customers, why don't you turn the hotel to be normal apartment to let your tenant to self serve?

Fantastic huge villa with amazing views

My partner and I have just stayed at Sun Island for 3 nights and we wish we didn't have to leave. The suites were clean and massive, the views were to die for and the private pool was well maintained, refreshing and inviting. The staff were all so kind, friendly and very attentive nothing was to much trouble. We enjoyed having breakfast cooked for us each morning in our suite. The grounds and the suites are pristine you won't regret booking here if you want somewhere private to relax. You can get dropped off Jimbaran beach which is only a 10 min drive away. Definitely go to Sundara and watch the sunset. They run free shuttles to the local area. We are looking forward to coming back thank you for an amazing stay.

Large Beautiful Villa

Our stay at this resort was absolutely phenomenal! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating with any request we had. They arranged for a moped to be delivered to us, which became our main form of transportation for the week long stay (rental fee is ~$5-6 per day). The breakfast they prepared every morning was great and had several options (I chose the omelette everyday as it was delicious). They placed a romantic rose arrangement on our bed after learning it was our honeymoon. We loved the big open floor plan and private pool. Everything about this place was top notch. I wish we could have stayed longer, but if/when we ever return to Bali we will for sure be staying here again. TIP: DO NOT USE THE TAXI GUYS THAT WAIT AT THE AIRPORT. THEY CHARGED US 250k rupiah (~$20). We were naive and paid it before learning from the staff at Sun Island Suites that BLUEBIRD taxi service is much cheaper and the safest taxis to use for travelers. You should not pay more than 100,000 rupiah to get from the airport to the resort. Bargain their price down and if they won't budge, walk away and find someone outside who is willing to drive you for less. We used BlueBird to make a run to the supermarket to stock up on groceries. It was about 10 minute ride and only cost $3. Our driver was happy to wait for us until we finished shopping and give us a return ride back to the resort. Be sure to tip your service people when it is deserved. They are very grateful for even small tips.

Hidden Gem

Pros - The photos don't do this place justice. It is stunning and well fitted out with good quality fittings unlike a lot of the other villas in Bali. It is a genuine 5 Star Villa. Cons - The staff could learn a thing or two from the busy villas in Seminyak. They are very slow and if you have somewhere in mind to visit they will try to suggest another option but I'm not sure if that's for commission. It is really hard to find this place most taxi drivers wont know where to go. Tell them its behind the University..that could help.

Beautiful Views

The rooms, view, private pool, & service were all great!! The staff size is a little small for being a new place, so it may take a bit of time if you need them. Only problem I had were the mosquitoes. Our baby and myself got bitten quite a bit, but still a nice a place.

This is a new hotel, so the condition of the room which is pretty good. The only downside is the breakfast, because they cook it in your villa, so you don't have much choice of it. But other than that everything is cool.

Amazing villas at Sun Island Suites in Jimbaran

We absolutely loved Sun Island Suites in Jimbaran. We booked the 2 bedroom villa and were so happy with this place. It only opened in August 2014 so everything is brand new and very clean. The house was 2 storey, with lounge room, dining, kitchen, toilet and private swimming pool downstairs. Upstairs had the 2 bedrooms, both with their own ensuites. The staff were wonderful and would stop at nothing to satisfy our every request. You have a butler each morning cook you either an american breakfast or a continental breakfast. The place is very well staffed and anytime we requested something they would come round in a few minutes. They were all so friendly and polite. The area itself, Goa Gong Jimbaran is nice and quiet. There are a few restaurants around but most are not within walking distance. We hired a car and are so glad we did. To get to the villa there is a very steep hill you need to go up. Im sure the staff would offer to transport you up and down, but having your own transport will help you get around. If you do decide to stay here make sure you check out Dream Land beach and Uluwatu temple. Overall, a wonderful villa if you are after a quiet, relaxing retreat.

Globalement décevant ! Hormis une spacieuse villa avec une grande piscine privative, tout semble daté : finitions et aménagements des années 80. La terrasse en bois au bord de la piscine est complètement cuite avec des vis pouvant blesser les pieds. La cuisine est inutilisable car non équipée (pas de torchons, éponge, produit vaisselle...). Le petit dejeuner est totalement indigne du niveau des prestations espérées en rapport avec le coût demandé: produits de basse qualité, jus de fruits industriels, café et thé inbuvables... Pas de pression d'eau chaude dans la douche, cheveux dans le lit, taches de sang sur la taie d'oreiller... Absence du parasol et du salon de jardin sur la terrasse. Et ils proposent des prestations quils ne peuvent pas assurer: le barbecue a domicile malgré la très faible fréquentation du lieu et une demande faite dans les temps, n'a pu nous nous être accordé.

初めてのバリ島、初めてのvillaでした！予約した時、villaのお部屋なのに安くてちょっと不安でしたが、従業員はとても親切で、お部屋も清潔、素晴らしい眺めと綺麗なvilla である意味期待を裏切られました^^!!!!強いて言うなら、シャワーの水圧が少し弱かったです。立地的には、山の方にあるので夜はとても静かで空気もよかったです！しかし、中心部や観光地へのアクセスはタクシーを使えば30分や1時間ほどで行けました！本当に泊まって良かったと思います！従業員にも感謝しています！またぜひ行きたいと思います‼︎
