Peaceful Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the Bella Bear Cabin. It is in a peaceful, isolated, and quiet location. Everything we needed was provided and the hosts were very thoughtful. We will be back!

Anniversary weekend

We spent the last weekend of October at Bella Bear Cabin for a wedding anniversary getaway. Throughout the process and my many questions, the property manager quickly responded. Upon arrival at Bella Bear Cabin, my husband and I were greeted with a thoughtful "Happy Anniversary" banner and other treats, which we appreciated. It was a very clean, well appointed property that was well beyond what we needed with apparent thought to detail for families and couples. We enjoyed the fireplace immensely, hiking in the nearby parks (including a full moon night hike) and shopping at Jim Thorpe. In the morning, it was not uncommon to see deer right on the property. I was also delighted to indulge myself in a few games of Ms. Pacman. For anyone visiting over the weekend during the month of October during Jim Thorpe weekend fall festival, it is definitely very crowded with lots of traffic. The route we chose took us through Jim Thorpe and unfortunately, getting to Bella Bear Cabin from the Jim Thorpe train station area took us about 45 - 60 minutes. We will be better prepared next time. Highly recommend Bella Bear cabin for anyone visiting the area!

Great home and host!

I stayed at Bella bear cabin with my 2yr old and my mother for a baby shower nearby. We were there for a couple nights and it was great! I wish I had more time to enjoy the area! The house was very clean and cozy and had the absolute softest carpet! We were greeted with s’mores supplies and coffee and snacks! All linens and towels were available as well as soap and anything you could need as far as kitchen appliances and pans and utensils! I loved that they had so many things for my toddler, the pack n play was already set up for me upon arrival which was so nice! There was also games galore! The property was very cute and the area had many roads to walk during the day! I didn’t get to visit the beach or pool as it was off season, but I’ll surely try to come back in the summer and stay again! I had a small issue figuring out the keypad lock (a mistake on my end.. I’m not very familiar with keypad locks) and the host was SO FAST to get back to me and help me unlock the property even with it being about 8pm! I am so pleased with my stay. Would def recommend to others as well as stay again!
