NYC weekend getaway

The three of us wanted a weekend to enjoy NYC. Decided to stay further out in Jersey to save some money. Honestly, we only stayed at the rental for sleep and showers. We were out and about most of the day, not returning till 3am or so. The property is extremely clean. It is about an hour's bus drive into NYC. Cons: even with short showers, the water in the shower quickly turned cold, not even allowing the 3rd person to shower right away. There was a lot of noise upstairs, footsteps of running children. There was an issue of the washer and dryer running at the same time. The owner had to check the fuse box and fix it. But even after that, the dryer didn't dry the clothes fully. Even with a small load and overnight drying, everything was damp. The info for wifi was not readily available. We had to go upstairs to get that info from the owner. All in all, the rental served its purpose for 3 young adults looking to take in as much as NYC in a shorttime.
