We enjoyed our stay because the hotel is beautiful and so many options for food. The pool is magnificient and opening late was an excellent idea. The shopping stores within the hotel was very reasonably priced. The buffet lunch was very delicious with so muc variety. The free shuttle bus service was very useful and welcomed.

I think from a couple of years the quality of the hotel has gone down a lot. Was really looking forward to my stay this time but was a little bit disappointed with the food and overall smell of the hallways of the hotel. However the pool is always great

The hotel room was everything we imagined. The service was great. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet-delicious. The only downside was it wasn’t very diverse. I was the only person of color which was noticeable from the stares. Lotte should try to be more creative with their advertisements to entice more people from different cultural backgrounds to experience the grand Hyatt. Unless the current situation is intentional. I have stayed at different Grand Hyatts and loved them. This was the only time I felt self aware.

Great location and affordable luxury

Excellent option for staying in Jeju. Rooms have amazing views, are comfortable and modern. Breakfast is an absolute highlight of the trip. Everything was fresh, delicious and the variety was mouthwatering. All kinds of Korean staples plus the usual international fares. Only 10 minutes from the airport and the hotel offers free shuttle starting at 6am. Two pools (one indoors one outdoors), and they’re both super fun. Staff throughout the property was friendly and professional. I recommend this hotel 100%

Grand Hyatt Jeju, A Very Comfortable Stay

The Grand Hyatt in Jeju is a landmark and it's easy to see why with the massive Dream Tower dwarfing all other buildings in the vicinity. We were graciously offered a free monitor upgrade due to staying multiple nights. There were numerous restaurants in the hotel but we didn't try any, since there were countless options in the surrounding blocks. Again there is a lot of shopping, which we did not take part in, but it was interesting to walk around. The outdoor pool was great and the kids absolutely loved it. The only downside is that both the indoor and outdoor pools get VERY busy as this is a very popular hotel, so we found the sweet spot with going around dinner time while other people are eating. Bonus points that we found out about a free shuttle back to the airport even though the Hyatt website says that you should take a taxi or the bus.

Loved how spacious the room, lounge armchair was very comfortable. The room was very clean and the view was great. Service was almost close to perfect but they took a very long time to push the luggage trolley to my room. Not good when you’re in a rush

This property is essentially a Las Vegas hotel in the middle of Jeju City. Basically everything you need is there. A buffet, bar, karaoke, clothes shopping mall, casino, japanese restaurant (rather pricey tbh) and I kid you not, a FULL SIZE 7-Eleven store INSIDE. The pools were a little smaller than I thought they'd be and the inside pool is slightly unimpressive. The spas looked great but I didn't have time to try them. Keep in mind, getting around Jeju Island is a bit of a hassle unless you take taxis and with those everything is about 15 minutes apart instead of 45 as buses take forever. There is a McD in front for a taste of home and a black pork restaurant behind for a Jeju delicacy. Need groceries or souvenirs? There's a Lotte Mart about a 10 minute walk south. The room was gigantic, floor to ceiling windows for a gorgeous view of the city or mountains. I was only irritated with the clientele from time to time, but for the price I feel like it can't be beat. For comparison, my hotel in Seoul was only $20 cheaper than this but wayyy less nice.
