Atlantic Sand Oasis-When I came back to this island in 1982, I discovered this paradise spot where I decided to buy and develop this vacation villa. I was inspired by the attractive view of the lighthouse and the clear water of this sandy beach 365 days of the year, which surround the area. In a sweet escape… to this paradise, you will be able to enjoy beautiful green backyard which have a direct access to the beach, perfect for resting in a hammock or just relaxing under the palm trees having your preference beverage in a beautiful afternoon watching the sunset.

In this villa you can enjoy different activities with your family or as a couple, such as surfing, jet ski, snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, playing any sport or even deep sea fishing. There’s also a light house that has an aquarium and museum for the family to enjoy.

Property is great! The view is absolutely beautiful and we fully enjoyed the yard/pool and rooftop. Showers had hott water and good pressure. ACs kept the house cool. The house also has a crib, toddler bed and pack n play. Great for everyone! Only things to mention, which the host cannot control, is the bugs at night! Our whole group is covered in bites.. the bugs coke out right after the sun goes down so i suggest a movie night (which we did the last 2 nights) also the beach is wild with huge waves and rip currents-were all grown great swimmers (those who went in) and even we were thrashed and kinda scared! It was a blast nonetheless

Javier was pretty responsive to problemas, I just wish there weren't so many problemas. Hot tub was a cold tub. Javi said they got a new heater, but not for us. A/c not central, fortunate for me I like the heat. Difficult having 4 small kitchens, instead of one large, especially for a large group. Door handle broke, so we couldn't close the door securely, fixed next day. Shower head stem rusted and snapped off, but Javi had it fixed the next day. Power went out for a day, but generator worked well. Plenty of parking and protected off of the pretty ghetto neighborhood. Nice pool and yard overlooking the beach. Clean beaches. Kinda far from most of the popular activities. Mixed bag, pretty ok place. Seem like nice people.

Hidden Gem!Everything about this place was amazing. The scenery was picture-perfect — with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Our group of 20 fit comfortably in the house, and Javier, our host, was extremely responsive throughout our stay. Between the pool and the easy beach access, we hardly needed to leave the property!The rooftop space was a fantastic gathering spot where we enjoyed music, games, and great company. The driveway easily accommodated our four rental cars, and we appreciated the scheduled pool cleaning and landscaping during the week — it really made a difference.We celebrated four birthdays during our stay, and each celebration was perfect! The only minor downside was the presence of sand bugs/fleas, which seemed to bother just a few of us.Overall, it was an unforgettable trip — thank you for the wonderful stay and lasting memories!

The space is great for big family gatherings and allows for people to have privacy. The problem was the smell of trash left outside. It was evident they cleaned some but there was crackers on the floor and filled trash on the rooftop. Small inconveniences did not affect our stay because we made the best of it. One of the lower rooms has a very bad smell of mold or mildew and we used plug ins and spray to help my brother and sister in law in the room. The pool looks much bigger in pictures than in person but it is perfect for my nieces. It’s beautiful and in my opinion despite its challenges still worth the price. Bring quarters for laundry, all toiletries including hand soap, dish soap, sponges, paper towels and quarters for laundry.

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful stay at this property with our family of 16. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, and the layout of the four private units—three suites downstairs and one large unit upstairs—worked perfectly for our group. The private pool was clean, with a nice shallow end for toddlers, and the property’s location right on the beach made it feel like our own private paradise.We loved the gorgeous ocean and mountain views, the abundance of pool and beach toys, and the convenience of having two washers and dryers onsite (though they are coin-operated). There were plenty of towels, secure parking, and even a tasty restaurant right across the street.A couple of things to note: there is a photo of a hot tub on the roof, but there isn’t actually one there. The hot tub by the pool is just a couple of degrees warmer than the pool itself. Also, more dishes would be helpful, and there were a few minor maintenance issues during our stay (one possibly due to a nearby earthquake), but Javier responded quickly via text and had repairs taken care of promptly. Street noise can also be noticeable at times.Overall, this is a fantastic property for a large family gathering, and we’d happily stay here again!

My stay at the beach house in Arecibo, Puerto Rico was unforgettable. The property was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. Incredible Place

The house was clean, cold, and comfortable. There were some issues with shower and sink leaks but they were handled immediately upon notifying the host so no problem. The back yard, pool area, and beach areas could not be beat. Breathtakingly beautiful. The rooftop tables were amazing! Fortunately there was an amazing breeze while we were there so no see um and mosquito problems were nonexistent. Location is pretty much off the beaten path so don’t expect 5 star restaurants or a big nightlife. But the bar across the street was fantastic and accommodated 19 people. The grocery store just down the street had everything you needed and great coffee and empanadas. Açaí food truck within walking distance, nice restaurant within walking distance but honestly the fact that the back yard was so private and so beautiful was everything you could ask for. My family would book this house again in a heart beat if we go back to Puerto Rico. Javier was an incredible host!

Great beachfront home for a large group

We were very happy with our accommodation. Easy check in and checkout. Excellent communication. Very clear instructions. This is the perfect place for large groups to rent because the upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the downstairs are three separate studio apartments with two queens. There’s even a crib, toddler bed, and pack’n’play for littles. There are boogie boards and excellent waves. Make sure to pack the bug spray! Every place we have stayed in Puerto Rico, there are little bugs that pack an itchy bite. They come out at sundown so you can avoid them by staying inside. It is on a busy road so you will hear cars driving by and loud music, which is typical in most cities in Puerto Rico. Very cold A/C. Tons of parking inside the gate. The beach is stunning and huge!

Amazing Oasis!!

I cannot say enough about the amazing stay we had the house was more than I expected. It was breathtaking. We had a small wedding ceremony on the grounds we could not do the beach as the sand was too hot but it didn’t stop us from having the time of our lives. Our adult kids and their spouses and our grandchildren spent an amazing time. They said it was the best time they had. Javier was great always answering inquiries quickly. This is an amazing location you can tell Javier takes pride of n his Oasis!!

If you are looking to immerse yourself in culture this is the place to be. There are tons of food trucks, bakeries, fresh markets, and even a wal-mart/outlet mall nearby. The highlights: The layout of the home is perfect for individual groups. There are 3 double bed apartments on the bottom and a larger main level. The view is amazing, you are directly on the beach and the house pool is decent sized. Beds were comfy. Maintenence came a few times during our stay to mow and clean the pool. Needs improvement: I did not recieve check-in information until 8 pm the day prior which caused a lot of panic, communication there after was much better. At no fault to the host, please note the biting bugs are no joke. Bug spray is required at all times. The house is dated and could use some repair, shelves falling in refrigerator and shower. Boogie boards were broken upon arrival, host was aware but no offer to remedy. Water temperature between the house and hot tub are horrible. Faucet heads have to be in the perfect spot to get hot. Hot tub is a lukewarm bath at best, we asked maintenance to turn up the heat and he told us we were crazy, checked the timer, and it never got any hotter. Basketball net is hanging by threads. The spiral, outside, metal staircase between floors is deadly. It mists almost every most so the stairs are always wet. We had lots of banged up ankles from slipping. Overall for the size and location this fit our needs, but the amentitiesdcouldhighlights

Family week and wedding at the beach

We had a family of 9 adults, an infant and a 4 year old staying for 5 nights in January. We had a small wedding (the other family rented a VBRO next to ours) on the beach with a reception held on the roof top of this home. They have 4 tables with seating for 24 plus a large outdoor sectional and a couple chaise chairs all on the roof top! The lighting was not the best but we contacted Javier and Lupe and they strung light all around which made it even more perfect. The 3 suites on the ground level were perfect for 3 of the adult couples to have their own space. Beds were clean and comfortable. The pool is very nice and kept clean, there is plenty of outdoor seating plus pool and sand toys for the kids. Also plenty of towels and cookware. Outdoor showers to clean off the sand from the beach was nice. There are plenty of really good restaurants within minutes (a brand new bar/ restaurant right across the street earned our business- C & P Gastrobar ). Plenty of sight seeing and hiking opportunities nearby. Javier and Lupe were very easy to contact and very helpful. I highly recommend this place if you have a large group get together.

Very nice place for a big family

Very nice place with beautiful pool and pool bar. We enjoyed the property in front of the beach with hughe waves and also the nearby impressive bathing fun at ' La Poza del Obispo' next to the lighthouse.The only minus was the loud noise from the street at the late evening and night in the bedrooms. You had to get used to it.

Great Amenities and Very Spacious

The views of the ocean, the large, open backyard with pool and hot tub were perfect! Access to the beach was amazing. Loved the back covered porch for eating meals and viewing the ocean. The rooftop was nice but we didn’t spend much time up there. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to any issues.Some small improvements would make this an “excellent” rating such as better mattresses, consistent water temps in showers and sinks and an easier “key” system (digital locks). We did see previous comments about the street traffic/noise at night so that is another issue that unfortunately cannot be controlled. Lastly, the gardeners came and mowed the lawn (probably there 1.5 hrs) so that disturbed our peace a little bit.

The property was amazing! Excellent set up for a larger group. Javier was very attentive and immediately took care of the one minor issue we had. The pool was well-maintained and having immediate access to the uncrowded beach was a huge plus! There were only two issues that we experienced that were negatives. First, the sand fleas were horrible. We took bug spray and used it constantly, but it did not stop the bites at all. We all came home with hundreds of bites and horrible discomfort. We did see the other reviews that mentioned them, but had no idea how bad they were. I don't know a lot about sand fleas, but they were bad enough, it would keep us from returning to the property. The other issue is the isolation of the property from stores, restaurants, shopping. There are a couple of restaurants close by, but there aren't any convenience stores, grocery stores, etc. close by. Don't plan on any delivery services (not a deal breaker, but there are ZERO options available). When the listing says there are options close by, I think there is a huge difference in interpretation of close by :) That being said, Javier was very friendly and helpful. I wish the property was in a better location and the sand fleas weren't so bad. It was a perfect set-up for us and our three adult children to all have our own space but spend the week together. If the sand fleas were able to be exterminated, I would definitely consider staying there again.

The whole area is a bit run-down, but this property is nice and the views are gorgeous. The property needs alot, I mean alot, of repairs though that have not been done for quite some time. I rented the entire property (4 Suites) for my familty and each of the suites had issues. The shower in 1 of the suites on the first floor would give hot water for only a few mins if you played with the handle just right then it would either freeze or scald you. The shower on the 2nd floor above leaked water all over the floor through the grout and ceiling and into bedroom below, The manager told us to just put a towel on the floor to soak up the water when we used it, but we had to stop using that shower as it flooded floor in the room below. The stovetop in one of the lower suites does not work at all. The place is equipped with outdoor showers for cleaning off sand/salt from the ocean, but they dont work as all of the valves seized up and all the handles are broken. Pool area has a nice wet-bar area with outdoor speakers, but only one of them works as the connectors to the other speaker are all broken. There is just alot of small maintenance items that just are not being fixed when you add them all up however it threw a bit of a damper on our stay. Our major issue was the Jacuzzi not working. It was one of the amenities we where looking forward to using, a quick inspection revealed it had not been serviced properly in quite some time, I have several photos and videos of the issues.
