Great location - walking distance to Kemeraltı Market and the Clock Tower, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room had some issues: the bathroom sink was tiny and splashed a lot, and even though it was non-smoking, there was a strong cigarette smell. It was a bit hard to find at first since the street isn’t accessible by car, so I had to be dropped off and picked up from the main road or the street next to it. They have a water dispenser in the lobby, which was nice, but my tea wasn’t refilled during the stay.

Location was great: The famous bazaar was 8 min away to the left of the property and there's a metro station nearby as well. To the right u just walk 3 min to the nearest tram that can take u to Alsancak or u can walk for max 7 min to arrive to a very nice college style neighborhood. It reminded me of New York honestly. Room was extra clean and facilities are great. The receptionists were more than perfect and helpful and polite gentlemen. All in all perfect hotel.

The air conditioning in our room was barely working. It’s 40 degrees outside and we’re traveling with a baby. We asked them to change our room but they didn’t accept. I asked for a fan they said the AC is fine! My son got dehydrated and sick during the night. Next day I told them to either change the room or I leave, they said they are fully booked. So I hot another hotel. When checking out they said oh we can change the room!!! There was black mold in the AC filter and bathroom.

The hotel is relatively cheap, the staff was fine, and it is within walking distance of many nice things to see in Izmir. Unfortunately the room itself wasn't great. The bathroom was moldy, poorly ventilated, and the toilet continuously ran the entire time and the large flush option on it did not work. Towels weren't clean from the start and you have to specify that you want your room cleaned or else they won't which they didn't tell us. The bed had a thin unfitted sheet layed over the mattress and the only blanket we were given was thin and had holes in it. In addition the air conditioning did not work and the door to the "balcony" did not lock. Lastly the hotel is inaccessible by car and there is a small walk from any drivable street so finding it is awkward. Overall I would not recommend staying here based off of our experience.
