Quiet, restful location with all you need just around the corner

Great location. You can hear the surf pounding. Lovely views from the deck. Eight restaurants, spa and shops a very short walk away. I never left inside Wild Dunes.

Breathtaking ocean views

The ocean views at 2A Seagrove are simply breathtaking! We loved watching the ocean from the deck and even from inside through the over-sized sliding glass doors. The beach access and pool are just steps away. Everything has been updated and the apartment was clean and comfortable. It's conveniently located near the center of Wild Dunes and its amenities, but far enough to be a quiet oasis. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Getaway Weekend

We were told on day before arrival that A/C was not working. A technician came out to the condo but I guess the part was on back order. We were not told and called to ask why it wasn’t working. We had to leave the windows open and of course people were outside our room talking and laughing at 0330. Location was great but I would not stay at this location in the future. This is my 10th year at Wild Dunes and this is not on the top of my list.

2A Seagrove

We just had a wonderful long weekend at the Isle of Palms in a condo at Wild Dunes ( 2A Seagrrove). The unit was beautiful and spacious! My only complaint was that there was no elevator. My husband just had back surgery and I had cervical surgery, so taking luggage upstairs was no joke! Otherwise , everything was great!!

Perfect Beach Getaway

A beautiful beachfront property. Sitting on the deck was like sitting on the beach listening and watching the waves come in. The property was updated and nicely decorated. The bed was not as comfortable as we expected but we still had a wonderful stay.

Great location. Average accommodations

First, you can't beat the location, if you look straight out of the living room, there is the beach and the ocean. However, because of the orientation of the building, that view is very narrow due to the next unit that protrudes out and makes that view and the whole unit cave-like. The bedroom, which is all the way in the back, so you can't hear the ocean, has a view of the parking lot. It's also not a big deal, but it's a weaving 100 yard walk to get to the beach, which seems longer when you're so close to it. The furniture and bedding is utilitarian. It's fine, but you won't be wowed. You're paying for the view and the location, which is very much worth it, so I felt it was important to point out the rest so you know what you're walking into and aren't disappointed.

Short visit

Got there Wednezday evening, very poor lighting in stairwell. Bed was very poor, not comfortable, ocean view was spoiled by a untrimmed palm tree. Parking was confusing and we had a confrontation with a property owner. Left after that, just was not a real good visit.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time! It had the most amazing view and just a short distance from Charleston and great restaurants! The condo was very clean and nice! Our only issue was that the bed was very hard and uncomfortable and we ended up going and buying a mattress topper which didn’t seem to help much. Besides this, our stay was amazing!

Nice family beach vacation

Great location right on the water! A few restaurants and a grocery store a few miles away on the island. Close to many activities and things to do in Charleston. Things to consider- this unit has no extras (i.e. beach towels, coffee, etc.) that would commonly come with a rental of this type so plan ahead. Also, you can hear EVERY moment of the people in the unit above so plan to sleep only when they sleep or bring ear plugs.

Right on the beach, just what we were looking for

Very comfortable for two; very clean. Beautiful view of the ocean. Kitchen was nicely updated and well-stocked. Bathroom also updated. Television access to cable plus streaming services. Bedroom was a bit cramped but there was plenty of space in the rest of the unit. We appreciated the communication from the rental company about every detail. Wild Dunes resort has tennis, golf, bike rental, beach equipment (no dining to speak of). Nearby dining options are a bit limited; the good restaurants fill up quickly. Wish there were room-darkening curtains in the bedroom - had a hard time sleeping due to lights in the parking lot, and the sun coming up at 7:00 made sleeping in impossible. That's my only complaint!
