10/10 Amazing stay

All 6 of us were blown away by the location, the details, and just about everything. It was clean, had all the amenities we needed, and the drive to RRG felt like nothing. Can't recommend this cabin enough and we will definitely be back!

Loved the cabin& the solitude.

5 days walking trails and visiting family in Lex. Loved coziness & solitude of cabin. A little challenging finding it for the first time. Could use a reading light by the couches. A hammock on the deck would have been heaven. 5 stars. Hope to return. Will recommend.

Better than expected

This cabin and property were so much more than expected! The babbling stream while on the screened porch was so relaxing and everyone absolutely loved the way the place was decorated. We will definitely be returning to this place as it seemed more like home than a rental. Thank you for an amazing getaway!

Amazing Cabin

We areived at the cabin and were in awe. The decor was amazing, it was very clean, and a great location. The Squatch Hallow is a place i could stay forever. The counter tops in the kitchen were my favorite. The back screened in porch was a great place to unwind and listen to the creek. Hopefully we can return for our 20 year wedding anniversary in September. Thank you for the best place to unwind for 3 days.

30th Birthday trip

We had an amazing time!! The cabin is absolutely beautiful. We celebrated my 30th birthday and couldn’t have been happier with the trip. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed! Towels, dishes, cookware fire wood and water! Thanks for having us for the weekend and we look forward to returning!

Beautiful little cabin in the woods

My brothers and I decided to get away for a weekend and relax. This place was perfect for us. We loved the fire pit and the constant sound of the little creek behind the cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of little details and decorations in the cabin that made it feel really special.

Perfect couples getaway

My husband and I spent a long weekend here and it was absolutely perfect. The house was roomy and space efficient. It was clean and exactly what we expected. If we come back to Kentucky, we will definitely stay here again!

Excellent cabin!!!!

This cabin was not our initial first pick but we ended up deciding on it due to issues with our other option. And we were so glad that we ended up here!! The cabin is more than what 2 people need but it was not overwhelming and very inviting! Take a look at a map and find the cabin according to the WRITTEN directions, it was very easy to find. We had everything we needed and more. The wood stove was very cozy and the blackstone was exceptional for our breakfasts!! The A/C units are tricky to figure out but once you get the hang of it they aren’t a problem. We will definitely be back to this cabin for a couples weekend and with our family! We recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a private place to stay near the gorge.

Very nice, and neat, and roomy cabin.

We really enjoyed the tranquility of the cabin site. We all enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Myself, my husband and his sister and her husband enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the cabin. My husband and our bother-in-law enjoyed taking walks on the drive-way. They were getting in their steps count. The host has equipted the place with a good supply of nessities, some of them we made use of. The only thing that was a bit of a problem, was the directions that started with -finding the gas station, Gas Time. You need to add the name of the route it sits on. We did finally get there, and it did not ruin the trip. Thank you for a lovely time.

Girls Weekend Getaway

Squatch Hollow is the perfect little cabin for a relaxing retreat! The cabin is cozy and the screened back porch was amazing for drinking coffee, reading a book, and enjoying the weather. We would highly recommend!

Beautiful, well stocked home with comfortable beds, spacious living room, large table for dining, grills, fire pit. Comfortable beds. Can easily accommodate 6 people. Hidden treasure. Definitely would book again.

Quiet Cabin

It was a lovely property and location! Nice and quiet while we were there. Very clean, very organized. Because of storms in the area it made power and water not fully dependable but the owners were on top of trying to get things up and running for us. Overall it was a great stay!

Summer Family Getaway

We came from Wisconsin to Kentucky for a family getaway and to celebrate my husband's birthday and his love of bourbon. The cabin exceeded our expectations. A beautiful place both inside and out! We loved the location and we loved taking the Sky Lift up to the natural bridge which was so close! We loved the Burger Barn in town- such friendly people and great food. Our stay was perfect we plan to come again!

Weekend with the girls

Beautiful property, definitely a secluded place. The only negative issue I had was that the property wasn’t ready by check in. We got there at almost 5pm and the property wasn’t ready to stay in even though online it says 4pm check in. It wasn’t a big deal, we still loved the cabin and had a nice and relaxing weekend! Definitely would stay there again! :)

Very clean and in nature cabin. With the hot weather the ac worked wonderfully. Had a smart tv, a fan outside for the porch, blankets, chairs. Very peaceful.
