Charming older home updated with newer furniture. Gew exterior things could use some updated repair, but not of concern. Came with a group of friends and had plenty of room and bathrooms. Awesome dedicated game room that even the grown-ups enjoyed. The beds were very comfortable and the host was quick with responding. I would highly recommend this place. It wasnt far from Black River Harbor and an hour to Porcupine Mountains.

Great house in a great location for downtown, not far from ski hills, and not far from several different drives to waterfall hikes. The house is well appointed, and Lori, the host, is super responsive and helpful.

Ski weekend stay

This property was perfect for group of 10 for a ski weekend! Easy (15 minute) drive to Big Powderhorn & Snowriver ski resorts. Kids loved the game room. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the ample space and Victorian charm of the home.

Wonderful historic home

Beautifully restored historic home in Ironwood, MI. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, coffee and kcups provided. Plenty of towels. Loved the enclosed porch leading to the home’s massive entrance foyer where we could hang the winter coats and leave all the snow boots. Definitely would stay again.

Terrific Large Home. Made for a great family reunion!

Very happy with our stay in this property. A very spacious older home with a very fresh modern interior. All of the rooms were very large and spotless. The beds were very comfortable, fresh and clean. Very large kitchen with all amenities leading into a large dining with a grand marble table. Large clean bathrooms with great tub and shower. Lori was an excellent host..thoughtful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful Victorian Homebase

This beutifully renovated Victorian home did not disappoint. The owners were responsive and accomodating with the reservation and with checkout. The house itself was impecabbly and thoughfully renovated with plenty of space for my famly and adult kids. This is a perfect lodging option for plannig daytrips in the area.

Excellent Home

We had a group of Dads and teenage sons and this house could not have been more perfect. Super clean and well put together. The upper game room was also great. The 3 floors allow for some separation between kids and adults. There are plenty of bathrooms. The dining table was great for group games. Overall I’m not sure how much more we could have asked for. Great great rental!

Fun / Clean House

Great house to rent out for non stop fun and games. Clean and spacious. Lori was wonderful to work with and put in special gift basket and personal touches through out home. Living room is much larger than picture appears. Quick drive to ski hills and hiking trails.

Walking into the Victorian Home was "wow" from the start! Well-done fresh remodel. There were 4 adults and 3 children; one small dog. Plenty of room for us to enjoy being together or by ourself. Game room was a great bonus. Walked to local shops and drove through gorgeous forests with beaches filled with agates, fields of wild flowers; went swimming in Superior; enjoyed excellent take out from several local restaurants, including BBQ from vender truck at local park event with farmers market and live music. Art event in area. So many memories created - including the usage of a soaking tub in one of the four bathrooms. THANKYOU! We hope to return!!!

Family trip to Porcupine Mountains

We had a nice stay in Ironwood, using this home as our base for a couple days of hiking in the Porcupine Mountains. The property was spacious and nicely decorated with more than enough amenities to entertain the family after our day hikes. The area was a good location for our planned activities and the everyone was friendly and helpful.

Such a great find!

We booked this trip on short notice and the house exceeded our expectations in every way. Perfectly clean, huge (tons of space), brand new furniture throughout, excellent for a large group. And our kids thoroughly enjoyed the game room. Thanks to Lori for being such a responsive host.
