Amazing place in such a peaceful area. despite it being cold we still managed to sit outside and enjoy the birds and nature. everything was clean and tidy and plenty amenities were provided. would absolutely consider staying here again if i visited the same area.

Everything was spotless! Cleanest place we’ve stayed in Scotland. The host was there for every need and responded to e-mails within minutes. It was a lovely property and stay.

The accommodation was spotless. We were contacted before we arrived with directions and check in process which all went smoothly. It’s in a very quiet location a short drive along a small road off the main route along Loch Ness. We booked it as I was running the Loch Ness Marathon and it was well situated not too far from the St.Augustus coach pick up point. The cottage was warm and cosy and the owner had left some helpful little essentials like milk, tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid.

Quiet, spacious, inviting. Three words I think fit this property quite well. If you’re looking for solitude while being located in a spot that allows for day trips in a variety of locations (or for some great hiking), this is your spot. I’ve been to Scotland many times now, and this property easily ranks in my top 3.

An excellent, comfortable and stylish stay in the peaceful highlands a short distance from Fort Augustus. Well located for exploring the area around Loch Ness and the Eastern side of the North Coast 500, we also took a day trip to the Isle of Skye which was easy enough. Thoroughly impressed by the facilities in the cottage, very tastefully decorated and with everything you might need whilst away. The tea, coffee and milk on arrival was a nice touch. Couldn’t recommend Faebuie Cottages highly enough!

Lovely retreat

This was a lovely retreat, peaceful with wonderful scenery all around. The apartment was beautiful, relaxing and comfortable. It’s really clean and felt safe. Good access to Loch Ness, Culloden and the Cambrian mountains.
