Catalina Hideaway was the ideal escape for our family! The place is spacious and we had a blast on the three-season porch in the back. It was complete with an outdoor TV, table, and high-top counters. The heated pool was fantastic, and the pergola was nice with the fire pit. Our family will definitely make it a point to stay here next time we’re in the area.

The house was very clean and as described. Due to a cold front we did not use the pool even though it was heated. The property manager of this rental home is AMAZING. She went above and beyond when my son forgot his toiletrie bag which had his medicine in it. Prior to this, she called to let us know when the house was ready and checked in to make sure everything was ok. She is really the star of our quick trip to the area!

Very kid friendly. Great pool area and play area.No soap or body wash in master bath and only one washcloth. Need more silverware for a large crowd. Also only one dish towel for drying dishes and no dish drying rack. Kitchen drawers needed cleaning, they had crumbs in them. Also ants in the kitchen. Could have used a broiler pan for the oven. Overall the property could use some repair on screen doors and new paint on entry doors. Pretty beat up. Cushions on couch area were dirty and there was a rip in one of them. Two beach chairs in small shed were rusty and unable to be used. Knives weren’t very sharp. Stove is a little weird and hard to regulate heat. Glasses in cupboard had a film on them. Had to wash before using them.

Property was great and very spacious. Property manager was very accommodating and welcoming. Close to the beach, shopping centers and groceries stores. Indoor and outdoor space was great to celebrate my birthday. Will return again.

Perfect for Families

Our family of 5 with teens loved this place. It has tons of space to spread out with an easy going laid back vacation vibe. The house and pool were super clean and well maintained. Video games, board games, pool toys included. Also beach chairs, umbrella, etc. It had everything we needed and the location was quiet and near several great beaches. My husband and I loved the nearby park for our walk in the morning. Host was responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Visit to Melbourne

We very much enjoyed our stay at Catalina Hideaway. We were allowed an hour earlier check in upon our request, the house was clean and there was literally anything you can think of that you might need readily available. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood is extremely quiet. We enjoyed the pool daily and we also loved the fact that we were able to bring our dog for her first vacation. She was in heaven. The yard was slightly different than the pictures but still very nice. There was a nice book that gave recommendations for places to eat and we ate at Morning Glory almost every day of our trip! The beach was the easiest adventure I have ever had at a beach, ate breakfast and parked the car in the first spot at the beach, easy walk and not crowded. We would definitely stay again.

Nice and very comfortable place.

June7th - Jun 14th, 2025Vacay 2025 The home is very comfortable. Neighborhood very friendly. Plenty of sleeping room. Pictures don’t do it justice. Pool is very nice and clean. Open space for games and fun inside and out. Plenty of nice restaurants, and grocery shopping for cooking in. We all had a great time. We’ll be looking forward to next year. Great Thank you.

Great Amenities but Issues with Cleanliness

The home is well located in the Indian Harbor Beach area. 2-monutes from Gleason Park, Publix, and quick drive to the beach. Lots of rooms and full baths, a large backyard with a pool, and lovely game room. The listing was lacking check-in/out info online and not emailed over leading to a check-in issue but the manager was quick to resolve and make it right. We found checkout instructions in the guestbook in the home. The home is well labeled all over which which helps with all the light switches and in the kitchen. Our issue was with cleanliness. The home was reset: beds were made, towels refreshed... But we found trash in the trash cans, dishes in the dishwasher, we found many of the kitchen items were stored away dirty, the screened in back patio could of used a quick sweeping as it was just full of debris, and the game room had food crumbs like chips and popcorn and dog fur. The home also is in need of a deep clean as all the window blinds and window sills had that caked film of dust from long not being cleaned and rapid humidity changes. We also found some pest evidence so the home problem is due for pest control refreshing. The weirdest one was there was what looked like bird dropping in random places around the home, including on the TV in the Master. We took photos of everything so we could share along with he review in hopes that future stays get little more attention to the detail of cleanliness; maybe a check-in day list for the cleaning crew could help.

Hope to visit again!

Fabulous house and outdoor area with plenty of space for gatherings and privacy. We've been taking annual vacations for five years and this is the first place we would go back to. We loved this house! Pros:1. Outdoor area is fantastic!2. Pool3. Game room 4. Kitchen appliances and dishes5. Seating areas6. Location: While it's about a mile walk to the beach, there is beach parking nearby and there are tons of places nearby for groceries, clothes, etc. Cons:1. Bunk beds need replaced. Would probably be good for smaller kids but mattresses and stability of the bunk not sufficient for teens. Thankfully the game room offered plenty of space for the kids to have their own area. FYI:2. Driveway is STEEP. 4. While the house has central air, each bedroom has its own window AC unit. Took a few nights to get the temp and noise level right.

Very Nice!

The property was as shown on the site.There were a couple of problems and the owner stepped right in and took care of them.Enjoyed our time there with dog parks with leash and no leash rules.Neighborhood reminded us of ours growing up and the neighbors were nice.Pool was warm and clean. Everything was near by.Good time!

Great family reunion

Great communication. House has great layout for large family. Screened porch is fantastic. Large living room saw more activities than expected. Lots of TV's and entertainment. Kitchen was handy and we made several dinners and Thanksgiving includinglllthanksgiving thanksgiving

Well equipped and close to the beach

Had a wonderful stay here. The pool was perfect and the house was probably the best stocked rental ever. Every kitchen tool you needed, extra pillows blankets, towels for the pool! It has it all. There could be more hooks in the bathrooms to hang toiletry bags or towels but that’s typical. I wasn’t expecting portable ac units in each bedroom but it certainly made for comfortable sleeping.

Wonderful Stay

This property was just what we needed to be in the area for our eldest daughter’s wedding. The neighborhood was great, plenty of parking for those in our party. Everyone, from the littles to the adults, enjoyed the abundance of activities at the property. Plenty of baby gear—high chair, pack and plays, stroller, toys, etc. We utilized the screened porch, patio, fire pit, hammock swing and more! Stove top wouldn’t turn on but Chan was quick to come take a look and get it fixed easily. Weather was chilly and windy so we didn’t use the pool but it was beautiful, clean and inviting. Quick 5 min drive from shopping and the beach. Highly recommend!!
