The master bedroom bed broke the first night of our stay, with one post collapsing while someone was sleeping and causing a shoulder injury. We contacted Vacasa immediately, but communication was poor and inconsistent. A handyman was promised without a clear time, then we were told they were “5 minutes away” while we were out of the cabin, which we were not comfortable with due to valuables inside. We rescheduled for the next day when we would be home, but no one came, later blaming snow—even though snowfall had stopped and roads were cleared by late afternoon. When someone finally arrived on the last night, we were told the bed could not be fixed. We were forced to sleep on the ground for the entire stay. A manager later apologized and promised a refund but never followed up, despite multiple calls and texts. The home was poorly stocked, beds were old, and customer service was extremely disappointing. Due to safety concerns, discomfort, and lack of accountability, we do not recommend this property or Vacasa.
