Great price. Loved the frogs singing in the rice field near by. Google maps does not show the correct way to enter the parking lot it takes you behind the hotel. You need to turn into the Yamato restaurant parking lot. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors.

Good stay

Good stay! Area is a bit far from the station, but there's a nearby local bus that can take you to the station or sightseeing spots that runs about once an hour. Hotel was clean, staff were nice, and the rooms were bigger than expected.

In my check-in I had to wait some time because front staff said that I had booked two rooms even though I received only one room. So the check-in get delayed. But the staff was friendly and kind, I asked for a public bath and they helped me to find out a good one. In the morning buffet they are re filling the stuffs quickly and not a bad buffet at all. This is a good place !

Just off the highway

Typical Japanese “just off the highway” type of hotel. Room was a reasonable size with a king sized bed and a single bunk above....very usual arrangement for a hotel. All the fittings were basic but very functional and clean. Staff were helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Surprisingly good

A basic, no frills hotel but surprisingly good. Modern and clean, had everything we needed. Polite and friendly staff. Room had a bunk bed over the double bed, my two small children shared the top bunk and were very happy with that. Was quite a way from the train station but we had very friendly taxi drivers each way. There is a restaurant out the front but we went to an izakaya about 200 meters away which was amazing.

Nice hotel, but far walk

The hotel was very nice, but the location is not very good if you don't have a car or get a taxi. I didn't know if there were any buses, but it was a really far walk from the station. It seemed everyone else had either driven or taken a tour bus to the hotel. I would stay again if I had a car or an easier way to get there.

nice cheap place

I stayed over at Chisun when I was going to ride the pokemon train from Ichinoseki to Kesennuma! The hotel was really really far away from the station and the last bus out there, was at 18.00!! So I had to walk to the hotel from Ichinoseki, about 4 km, to the hotel. They should have a shuttle service when it's that far from the station, I think. The room was quite nice and big, and it wasn't too expensive either. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese style breakfast buffet with rice, fish, miso-soup and also bread. Not the best in the world. But acceptable. staff was friendly as well! But I'd probably chose a place closer to the station the next time. It was near a forrest area, and next to a big highway. There were many restarants nearby. Also a big mall. But the bus connection there was terrible.

Great comfort for the budget

Fairly small room and no view, but there was breakfast and the whole place seemed very eco-friendly, which I liked. It was in walking distance to the AEON mall, which was convenient, and a short drive from Chuusonji and the Konjikido. Best experience for the price.

Value for money close to highway, far from station

I stayed 3 days to visit World heritage sites nearby. Hotel made a good cheap base but the location was so far from town centre and train station I was obliged to hire a car, although buses ran to all the sites. Room was clean and quier and agriller and microwave downstairs enabled quick snacks to be made.

Nice hotel - very clean, close to the motorway, but far from the railway station. Some explanations (e.g. of air-conditioning) suffered from not enough English language descriptions. Generally very good hotel.

Great Hotel and Reasonably Priced

This is a reasonably priced hotel and is very comfortable. We selected it because of its proximity to Geibeki Gorge and the world heritage sites in Hirazumi. The Korean barbeque restaurant next door serves wonderful food.

Nice Stop at a Japanese Business Hotel

Other than the fact that I had a smoking room when I didn't want one, this one fit the bill nicely. The room was clean and had Internet access (even had a LAN cable available for use in the room). I thought it was strange that I was given the option of bunk beds, but it would be convenient if there is more than 1 person staying in the same room for the night. The Japanese breakfast was serve yourself, and it was pretty good. It was a good value and I'd definitely stay here again, and I'd stay at other Chisun Inn hotels in the chain.
