Have received a particularly special service at this hotel. I enjoyed my night booked here, so decided to book another 2 nights. This morning, the phone in my room rang and I was offered a room upgrade, for free. I had a look, a nicer room but decided to stay where I was, which I understand now, was an upgrade itself! A maid just (12pm) brought round a plate of fruit, just when I was thinking about going to get something to eat. I might have to stay another couple of nights!!

Warm Hospitality and Great Location

We had a lovely stay at Mondial Hotel and would happily return on our next visit to Hue. The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff — they are exceptionally helpful, friendly, attentive, and professional. From check-in to check-out, they were always making sure we had everything we needed, offering service with genuine warmth and care. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained. Our room was spotless and equipped with all the necessary amenities. One thing to note is that irons are not provided in the rooms due to hotel policy, but they do offer an ironing service for a fee, which is a helpful alternative. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from and a generous selection of both hot and cold drinks. It was a great way to start each day. However, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. The water pressure in our shower was very low, and the temperature control was quite extreme — switching from cold to hot too suddenly, making it difficult to find a comfortable setting. These are small but important details that affected our overall comfort and are the main reasons we couldn’t give a full five-star rating. That said, the overall experience was very positive, and we truly appreciated the hospitality and service. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Hue.

The restaurant manager at breakfast was fantastic...we re vegetarian and he went out of his way to make sure my 2 boys had what they wanted .. he even got the chef to make vegetarian pho for my son...great guy

I was on the 3rd floor and there was very little sound proofing. Other guests kept me up to midnight and some guests plus hotel staff were making a lot of noise outside my room from 6am. The beds also weren't comfortable.

First visit to Hue and this hotel is central location a very good choice. Smooth check in . Very large room with refrigerator and property safe. Great shower and bed very comfortable. Definitely have the breakfast on 9th floor with eggs made to order and extras. Also the coffee bar of choices. Convenient ATM in lobby which I used with no issues. Visiting Hue consider this hotel. Really disappointed with my stay here, hotel looks stunning in pictures but it's very old and dated and the rooms need a lot of tlc. The bedding and pillows were stained. There was rubbish under the bed. The head board and chairs look like they've been around longer than me. The shower was the worst I've ever used and the tv is old with no option for any apps, which isn't ideal when you are from the UK. I booked a later bus to leave today and ended up just paying 5 times the price for a taxi as the pool was also out of service. I had originally booked this hotel with the plan to chill at the pool on my last day for a few hours before i left but this was not possible. Checking in was a bit awkward where you were asked to go sit down while they did what they had to do. Was also told to confirm the price I paid which was a bit odd. The walls are also paper thin so both days during my stay I was woken around 5.30-6am with guests talking or walking through the halls for breakfast. Location is also pretty poor, about 25-30 minute walk from centre. The concierge was lovely but other than that really poor experience. Was my 6th hotel that I've stayed in during this trip and was a real let down.

Very nice hotel with very good buffet style breakfast. There weren’t a lot of dining options in the immediate area but the staff gave excellent recommendations for restaurants that were a short taxi drive away. Quite close to the Imperial City as well.

Great stay nice room on 8th floor but could be a little noisy from footsteps above in restaurant. Food was nice and restaurant suited western tastes and offered knives and forks for us untrained with chop sticks.
