Could have been a hidden treasure
This stay had potential but honestly the host ruined the stay for me. For check in he wants to meet to give you the keys when there is a lock box on the door. Upon arrival the place was clean but the next morning @10:36 he sent me a message saying he was coming by to do some cleaning I asked him not to come because I was preparing for a event that I was hosting at a venue and had things all over the floor since there was no dining table. He said OK and asked me not to drink or smoke or have loud music in the place after I previously told him that it was not going to be there. I reiterated that it would not be there again and he said OK. I do not think that he understood that my event was at a venue and not at his rental. Not even a hour later he arrived at the rental with paper plates in his hand, I believe the host only came to make sure that I was not having anything at his home after I asked him not to come. I do understand that this is his rental but I expect to receive privacy with my belongings in his space also knowing that nowhere does it state that he is allowed on the property without a reasonable reason or without my permission. My check out was July 10th and he sent a message at 9 o’clock at night on the 9th about check out and asking me to wash the towels a d to leave the place tidy. Mind you there was no detergent and I have rented several times and never have had to do this. Further sending the message that late at night my opinion was unprofessional. Also within the first three hours of me being there I killed four bugs so when you come to stay please make sure to bring bug spray. When you first walk in the home it smells like Boric acid and it is all over the place. And you will also need to bring a trashcan and trash bags, detergent and maybe a table.
