Carefully restored 1850's lighthouse boasts 3000 sf of living space including gourmet kitchen, library, 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Interior opens onto 1200 sf of gorgeous deck and a four season sunroom. Easily move from indoor comfort to the beauty of the outdoors on Lake Superior's shore. Everything our guests need, from linens to top notch cooking equipment to a good read is waiting at the Eagle River Lighthouse.

This is the best VRBO I have stayed at! Me and a group of 6 did a new years snowboarding trip out there and it could not have been more smooth. A huge reason for that was Jan (our host) they gave tons of recommendations for the area, and always answered our questions no matter how small within a few hours. It was also spotless, had a fully stocked kitchen, a great amount of space, and one heck of a view ! We will most certainly be returning for another snowboarding trip or even in the summer to take on some hiking!

What a phenomenal place to stay! The lighthouse has been totally updated with a very cool design vibe and comfortable porches all around with views and plenty of fresh air. The proximity to great food and drink (Fitzgerald’s—highly recommended); things to do and see in the beautiful UP; golf; antiquing; beach walking; Jampot; card games; books in the rental—we loved it and will return, hoping next summer!

The lighthouse surpassed all expectations - gorgeous property, excellent location, attentive host. The layout afforded so many views, lounge areas and space to stretch out. The stay was amazing. Cannot say enough about the host Jan. She let us know when the northern lights might be visible on the first night and you can see the result. The kitchen was a dream for a rental, and it was probably the most full stocked rental. Agree with others the sunroom/library is probably the most used room. Everything was absolutely AMAZING!
