We visited in November. The view is stunning!! It was so quiet and beautiful. A perfect retreat. The kitchen was updated and has all the pots and pans you need. The beds were comfy with lots of pillows and warm comforters. Stop and get firewood on the way for the fireplace, it made the living room super cozy. WiFi works great, tvs are set up for streaming. The road can get very dark so make sure you read all of the directions so you don’t miss the turn. We saw otters from the deck, so keep an eye out. A few things that could be improved—*The house was cold when we got there. Having the heat on would have been nice.*Living room furniture could use an upgrade. It’s not very comfortable.*As others have said, the blinds need to be fixed. We wrestled with them every day. *The main bedroom toilet runs*The house is huge and can fit way more than 6 people comfortably (it has 7 beds). The driveway can fit more than 2 cars. It caused us some complications as people were driving in from different places and we needed to park more than two cars, and there’s nowhere nearby to park. All that said, we look forward to returning. The view and the forest are incredible.
