An idyllic 3 bedroom family home in Hobart’s popular Sandy Bay, walking distance to Salamanca Place, just five minutes from Sandy Bay shopping district, and 10 minutes walk to the beach.

This renovated period home comfortably sleeps six people, including a kids’ bedroom with two single beds.

Beautifully renovated the two-storey home is spacious both indoors and outdoors, with an elevated deck and backyard perfect for kids and entertaining.

The Space:
Understated Edwardian two-storey home in the picturesque suburb of Sandy Bay, one of Hobart’s most sought after and family friendly residential areas and so close to all of Hobart's attractions.

An abundance of natural light streams through the beautifully renovated and styled period home, complemented by retaining period features to add warmth and character.

Three generous sized bedrooms – two with Queen sized beds, and the third bedroom features two single beds and a split system heater/cooler.

Large lounge room with a comfortable lounge suite and TV to relax after a day of activities and sightseeing, a separate dining room for meal times, and a spacious renovated kitchen, fully equipped with a modern gas stove, oven and appliances.

Leading from the kitchen is a deck with outdoor dining space that offers stunning views of Hobart’s surrounding mountains, ideal for afternoons in the sun or summer dinners.

The home has a leafy backyard to enjoy the fresh air, you’ll also have access to the external laundry room with an additional toilet.

Great coffee spots just five minutes walk from the home – try Sisterhood or Duchess Café, Short Beach and playground just 10-minute stroll from the house.

Sandy Bay is a tranquil coastal neighbourhood of Hobart, with popular sandy beaches like Nutgrove and Long Beach, and boat-filled piers that make for beautiful views and a calm pace.

Sandy Bay Shopping precinct is just a 10 minutes walk for groceries and conveniences.

Cafes and restaurants at your fingertips, with great coffee to be found just five minutes walk from the home. Or walk just 15 minutes into Salamanca Place for more of Hobart’s restaurants, bars, culture and vibrancy. MONA ferry terminal is just 20 minutes walk, and if you want a stroll on the beach, walk 10 minutes to Short Beach.

Getting Around:
Metro Tasmania bus network can take you into Hobart, with a bus stop near the front of the home on Sandy Bay Road.

Taxis and Uber are also available, as well as Neuron and Beam Scooters to rent via apps.

Perfect Tassie Stay

What a great pad. Very nice location in Sandy Bay and beautifully presented accomodation. Meticulously restored and maintained old Tassie colonial style with modern improvements and all the best facilities. Great outdoor area, comfy living room, excellently renovated kitchen with all the best applicances, cutlery etc.Great location, easy and close to walk to nearest eateries, down the waterfront, along the riverfront and in to Salamnca Place. Fully private, quiet and relaxing weekend - highly recommend.
