Family weekend

Beautiful sunsets. Outdoor areas great for outdoor games (we brought cornhole), eating Al fresco, and campfires. Lake was nice, had some activity but not overly loud. Boat launch is not too far and dock at cabin was very nice. Took daily 2 mile walks on the road, neighborhood seemed friendly - bring your books to exchange at the Little Free Libraries. Cabin was clean and cozy, had everything we needed to cook our meals and space for game nights.

The sweetest property on a beautiful lake.We've been coming to Platte for decades, but this was our first time renting a cabin. We loved the homey feel of the cabin, and were impressed by its clever use of space.Communication was a dream, to boot.Definitely recommend.

Relaxing Family getaway

Beautiful property, gorgeous lake view, large sandy beach, house big enough for a family to all sleep comfortably, boat launch nearby. Hosts were communicative and responsive. Only issue we had was it was quite rainy two days and the home isn’t very close to any attractions, but we knew this going into our stay so wasn’t an issue. Would definitely and stay again.

Family of four stayed over memorial weekend. Cabin has a beautiful view of the lake. Neighborhood is very peaceful and the cabin description is accurate. Dock access for our boat was very handy.

The cabin was amazing. All the things you would need. The neighborhood for a busy weekend was prefect and peaceful. It worked so well with our family. I am hoping to stay there again in thr future.

Quality Family Time!

Family Holiday

Enjoy the property and the closeness to the lake. The yard space allows us to set up a tent, set up badminton and bean bags/ corn hole. We kayaked and swam in the lake, we had a great time.

cozy relaxing get away

This is a great cozy little cabin with incredible views of the sun set. The cabin was exactly as described. The hosts Scott and Jeanette were very helpful and responsive to my needs. Definitely a place I would stay again.

The cabin was wonderful! Very accommodating! The lakeshore front was excellent. The property grounds were great; perfect setting for a tent, game of bags, football and running around. Water is very clear. My family enjoyed ourselves very much and will definitely be rebooking!!!

Relaxing spot perfect for a not-so-far getaway.

This property was perfect for our “boys weekend” trip of 7. The inside was very cabin-esque with enough room for us to not be stepping on one another. The kitchen was perfect for cooking pizzas, breakfast or something quick before getting outside to enjoy the lake. Although the lake was a little shallow near shore, we utilized the dock for two boats and had no issues with the low water level. The fire pit got plenty of use and enjoyment, and the included wood on the property was appreciated. The hosts were very responsive to messages. We hope to spend time here again in the future!

Wonderful stay for the 4th

We had a wonderful stay for the 4th where we enjoyed the scenery, fishing, kayaking and relaxing. The house and property were just as described and Jeanette was very helpful and responsive.

Ice fishing

My wife and I were looking to do some ice fishing and only had to walk out about 300 yards to enjoy some good crappie fishing. Cabin is only 50' from the lake so it was an easy walk.

That’s What We Wanted

Perfect vacation! We didn’t have any problems or hassles the entire experience. The cabin was comfortable and had all the comforts! The kitchen was roomy and well equipped. Best knife set ever! We fired up the grill every night and lit a nice fire in the fire pit our last night. We did lots of walking on the road and everyone was friendly. I was most surprised that the lake was so clean and clear because I expected algal bloom, but didn’t see any. Definetly will be fishing next year. Lastly, didn’t see any neighbors the whole time. I like people, but they weren’t around and I like that, too.

Nice cabin, beautiful views

We enjoyed our stay very much. Cabin was quaint and views were spectacular. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that kitchen supplies/pans/cookie sheets, etc. could have been in better shape and the family room furniture was very well used; also the location (for us) was a bit remote. I realize location is not the cabin owners fault, obviously, but just noting that the area offers little other than the beautiful lake. You have to drive a ways for a coffee shop or restaurant.
