We had a great stay at Broadleaf Cottage! It truly is a wonderful mountain home. It has a spacious kitchen with lots of windows and everything you need for cooking. The entire house was light and bright. It was very convenient to Main Street, but is private and quiet. I especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. There is a screened porch and deck for enjoying outdoors.

Great trip

The house was exactly as advertised. Location is excellent and Lindsay responds immediately to any questions. We had friends over for dinner and they plan to pursue renting for next year. Couldn’t have been better. We just arrived home after a 10 1/2 hour trip and still feel positive about the two weeks we spent there. Our dog loved playing in the leaves.

Wonderful stay in Highlands

This cottage is a magical place to stay for a Highlands visit. The setting is beautiful and private, and the location is close to downtown. We truly enjoyed our time relaxing at the cottage, would recommend it highly, and can’t wait to return!

Perfect cottage in Highlands, NC

The cottage was absolutely beautiful- inside and out. The room decor and accompaniments were exactly what you’d expect in a well anointed home. For cooks - everything you’d need. For group gatherings the setting was also well done. Beds were comfortable and we will definitely be back with the rest of our family. The surrounding area is great for hiking and walking to downtown.

Charming cottage

We enjoyed our stay in this nice cottage in a great location. The rooms are a little smaller than they appear in the listing, but they were comfortable. The owner could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

Absolutely tranquil

I needed a place that was quiet and comfortable, and this was marvelous. Lindsay is a terrific host, easy to communicate with. The property is fully equipped with everything you need - - good sharp knives, plenty of cooking utensils, beautiful glassware, spices for cooking, icemaker in the freezer. And SO many places to just sit and write, write or chill. The covered porch was my favorite spot. It won't matter what time of year you come, this house is perfect.

Great House!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We loved the location- walkable to downtown. The house was immaculate and the beds and linens were so comfortable. Lindsay was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommended to others.

two weeks in heaven

Beautiful place, roomy kitchen, nice yard, less than a mile to main street. Foilage was perfect. Great weather - cold but no rain. close to everything, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Met Ben the bear who was out looking for food - make sure to lock your garbage can and take your dog for a week in dailight.

Great Stay

Really enjoyed this property for our visit the Highlands. House was comfortable and plenty of room for 2 couples and 2 dogs. Location is a only 5 minutes from downtown and the communication from the host was fantastic. We would absolutely book this home again for a future trip. Thanks!

Great cottage close to town.

Stayed 2 weeks in this very lovely mirror lake(Highlands) neighborhood. Host of as teffific in every way. The cottage is true to the pictures on VRBO. Great neighborhood to take your early morning walk. Close to town walk or a 5 min ride. We will definitely come back.

Hemlock Heaven

Our stay at Broadleaf Cottage was just perfect. An ancient hemlock tree stands watch just beyond the back deck. The cottage is perfectly situated between Mirror Lake & downtown Highlands. We ride bikes & walked every day. The sound of the creek across the side street provides the perfect white noise to help you settle in to a slower pace. The numerous seating areas inside & out provided us & our teenage daughter with the perfect places to have our own spaces when we needed them. Lindsay was fantastic to deal with. We’re already looking at when we can return to Broadleaf Cottage later this year & into next.
