Trinity Ranch Rescue presents Kevin's Cabin! A 3,300 sqft log cabin just outside Durango city limits. This majestic 3 story cabin sits on 12 tranquil acres with a pond fed by La Plata River. Enjoy the hot tub while star gazing, sauna, shuffle board and viewing deck. The cabin is pet friendly (please disclose pets at time of booking to apply pet fee) with a fenced yard. Great central location for adventures, family gatherings and romantic getaways any time of the year!
Step inside and be greeted by cathedral ceilings, spacious living room (one queen sofa bed) large TV, wood stove fire place and large cabin style windows for viewing the beautiful countryside and wildlife. Also on the main floor is a fully stocked kitchen, dinning room, full bathroom and laundry room. Exit the kitchen to a fully fenced yard with wrap around deck, outdoor dinning, grill, and the HOT TUB!
Follow the split log stairs to the huge loft with amazing views. In the loft you will find a shuffleboard, a large table with chairs, a reading nook and the master bedroom with full bathroom.
Follow the split log stairs to the finished basement were you will enter a large living space with couches, TV, game table and two sets of bunk beds. Attached is two private bedrooms with queen beds and TVs. On the other side of the stairs is a full bathroom and the SAUNA! There's plenty of space for everyone to unwind. Whether you're lounging in the cozy living area or enjoying a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, our cabin provides all the comforts of home. Make your holiday one for the books with a stay at Kevin's Cabin!

PLEASE NOTE:**During winter months, a four wheel drive vehicle is required to access and depart the Cabin during heavy snow or ice. The Cabin is 7,000 feet above sea level. Please take precautions for altitude sickness. Security cameras are located at the front entrance, facing south field and north field. There are no cameras in the house or in the backyard area.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a balcony. There's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms and a dining area. Treat Kevin's Cabin as you would your own. Very sensitive septic system Anything flushed other than septic safe toilet paper is prohibited.
Smoking outside only. If cigarette butts are found on the ground or house smells of smoke an extra $50 cleaning fee will be charged for each violation
No off roading on the property. $100 violation fee. *No discharging of firearms. Any damages will be charged to fix or replace.

We loved how secluded you feel even though there are neighbors. The sky was open and clear for stargazing. The open patio was perfect to enjoy a bite to eat outside. The entire property was beautiful inside and out. The house was clean and had what we needed. There is plenty of.room for a family. My service pup is always working but he enjoyed the vacation as well, he loved exploring the property and protecting us from the turkeys outside.

The fire pit was a hit. My 3 year old grandson was able to make S’mores and sit by the fire. Loved seeing a momma dear and her yearlings. While we only needed 3 rooms the bunk beds were awesome. Michelle was quick in her responses.

Perfect family getaway!

We loved this huge cabin for our family's winter trip. We enjoyed sunsets on the deck, deer sightings, the hot tub, sauna, fire pit, grill, wood stove, pond, it was perfect for 10 of us. The kids ask if we can return each winter. The only downside is the top level having no wall to separate the master bedroom.

Pure beauty

What a beautiful place. Inside and out. So enjoyed sitting outside and watching the sunrise and set. The stars are plentiful!! This cabin is very spacious but cozy. Enjoyed a bbq and dinner outside on the patio. Close to many activities. We enjoyed the Durango to Silverton train ride. Went shopping in Durango. Went off reading on the east bolam pass. Will definitely be going back
