This place never disappoints. It has everything you would need for the perfect vacation at the lake. The location is so quiet and relaxing. This is our 3rd year at this house and we can’t imagine ever going anywhere else.

Another Wonderful Stay

This was our 2nd time staying at this gorgeous property. We had a wonderful stay and the host is very responsive and easy to book with. The house, yard and dock area have everything you could possibly need. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Paradise on the Lake

The property is fantastic and has almost everything you're going to need! Its amazing how much better it was to stay in a home with little things you would never think to bring. While having all the luxury items of a rental. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a house on the lake. It has a little bit of everything for each member of your party. Plenty of shady areas for people to enjoy the outside without being in direct sun. Great swimming area that you can feel comfortable about letting the kids walk out.

Wonderful Stay

We had two families with teenagers and had the best time. Gorgeous open water views with an incredible yard. The landscaping was beautiful. Tons of outside activities. The kids loved catching minnows and fishing. The inside of the house had everything you need for meals. Loved the screened in porch for coffee in the morning. We booked another stay for August 2024!

Fun at the FlipFlop Inn

We had the best family vacation week at the FlipFlop Inn. The hosts were so responsive and helped addressed any questions. The outside space of this house is amazing. From the dock and water pads to the beach to the fire pit and hammocks and then the yard. We had many dinners outside with family kickball games after. The rooms are small but that didn’t bother our crew. Def a great stay.

A little slice of heaven

This house and property were amazing. The house is very accommodating and plenty of areas to relax when you want a break from the sun. The property left my family speechless. Countless seats, swings, couches, beach areas, grills, hot tub, etc. You never are wanting more. This place has it all. The location is so quiet and relaxing. Even at night this place lights up and it feels like your own personal resort. The owner was very helpful and sweet. We’ll definitely be back again!!

Great family getaway

We had an amazing time visiting! Brought our in-laws and kids. There was plenty of room for all 7 of us. We had breakfast on the screened in porch every morning. We loved how close the dock was and how much room we had to hangout. My kids had fun kayaking and paddleboarding. We rented a boat and found it easy to navigate back to the property. We were able to cook meals every night. There was something for everyone.

Resort like

The property is absolutely wonderful! So many great places to sit and enjoy the scenery. My niece counted over 100 different 'seats' on the outside. Beds and other furniture were comfortable. Great amenities, Blackstone grill, multiple fire pits, corn hole and everyone loved the classic video games! Having an awning on the dock was fantastic, could enjoy the water views without getting baked all day. It was mentioned multiple times it was like staying at a resort with all the sitting areas and activities on the property.

Spectacular view and outdoor paradise

Spent a week with friends and family and this wonderful spot. Loved the quiet location on the lake and the amazing views. So many places to sit and relax. House has everything you could possibly need and the owners are very responsive if you have a question. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely book again!

Impeccable Outdoor Lake Living Dream!

The house and outdoor space is simply breathtaking. The incredible location, variety of outdoor activities, and attention to detail throughout the property cannot be overstated!! Pam is also the most responsive host we have ever dealt with. She's prompt, kind, and willing to accommodate any request. The house simply has EVERYTHING, no detail is left out. One of the most impressive things about the property is that everything works! From the shade awnings, to the boat house TV, to the steam shower downstairs, everything worked as designed. All the outdoor appliances even had full propane tanks. The outdoor space is huge with space to roam and plenty of activities and "toys" for kids and adults. It was truly a fantastic property with panoramic views of the lake and easy access to the Marina. The neighborhood boat ramp was a huge benefit as well, being across the street! We couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy our holiday weekend!

Amazing Outdoor Living Space

This was our first trip to Lake Gaston. The house was clean and spacious. The outdoor living space is amazing. There is so much to do and everyone was able to spread out and enjoy different areas of the property. The sunrise and sunset views were my personal favorite. The owner was very responsive to a few questions we had. Looking forward to staying again in the future!
