Cozy, Convenient, Close to Mountains

Our stay at the Nook was a lovely experience. The downtown, restaurants, shops, and farmer’s market (complete with dog park) are all within a mile or two. The Nook has all the amenities needed. The king sized bed and sofa were very comfortable. We loved the stylish decor. It’s the perfect place to relax after a day at Brasstown Bald or hiking to any of the nearby (30 minute drive) waterfalls like Desoto, Helton Creek, Trahylta, and Raven Cliffs. Rochelle and Mark are delightful hosts.

Lovely stay

We truly enjoyed our stay at this great cottage. It has a nice little stream in the back yard, with fire pit and relaxing chairs. There are businesses near by but the sounds were minimal. We are looking forward to our next visit soon.

Great In-Town Location

The cottage was nicely appointed and well-stocked with everything you need for a getaway. It has a nice creek and fire pit in the back yard. It is an in-town location, but once on the property it feels like an outdoorsy hideaway.

Last Minute Mountain Trip

Ideal location for access to many retailers, activities and in such comfort! My husband & I had a very last minute requirement to get to Blairsville and we were lucky enough to find availability here. All we really would have needed is our clothes as the cottage has been prepared with luxuries and little pleasures in mind. So well maintained it is enjoyable whether inside or out on the porch or down by the creek. Last minute planning paid off for us with this spot. It is a real gem!

Comfortable weekend getaway

Clean and comfortable, right on a creek with outdoor furniture and a swing! This is in Blairsville, so most restaurants are only 5-10 minutes away. Super easy and relaxing—just what we needed to get some rest.

Weekend retreat

The cabin was perfect for our needs. The warm and welcoming decor, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and many thoughtful touches made us feel right at home. Sitting on the wonderful back porch listening to the creek and the birds made us feel like we were out in the woods even though we were in town with quick access to dining and shopping. We did not have any issues but the hosts were very accessible. Thank you so much for sharing this special place with us! We hope to visit again and stay long enough to enjoy the fire pit beside the creek.

Mountain Golfing Vacation

Absolutely the cleanest place I have ever stayed at. This location was central to golfing, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, hiking, lakes, waterfalls, and all with a small town feel. The people in Blairsville were all very friendly to us. The cabin "The Nook" was well equipped with towels, linens, kitchen dishes, pans, utensils, toilet paper, paper towels, even shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You can see that the owners Rochelle and Mark take pride in their property with all the attention to details inside and outside the cottage. Also, they are ready to respond to anything you have a concern about. Stayed one week. We enjoyed having this cottage to relax and listen to the creek and would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Cozy & Convenient

Beautifully decorated and obvious attention to comfort—linens were luxurious and beds had pristine presentation. Entire cabin was spotless and very comfortable. Welcome note with treats was a very nice personal touch. Location was convenient and close to state park. Hosts were beyond helpful and quick with communication regarding questions we had. Highly recommend—wish Rochelle would decorate my house. 😊

“The Nook” provided everything we needed. Scenery behind the cabin, enough privacy from neighbors, and comfortable and tasteful accommodations inside and outside the cabin. Fully equipped!

Working with Rochelle was a delight from start to finish! Communication was fast and she was able to accommodate an early check in. The cabin had everything you could need! From a fully stocked kitchen (including a crock pot) to a hair dryer in the bathroom - this cabin has everything you need. The place was spotless when we showed up and was even larger than the pictures made it look. While we were close to the road, I couldn’t really hear much road noise. But I could hear the creek out back! The porch, firepit, and outdoor set up behind the cabins was very cute. We would have loved to use it on a drier visit but the rain kept us away. Thank you Rochelle for a lovely girls weekend away!

Cute Hideaway

I enjoyed my stay. Rochelle was a great host! I loved the decor! I do find it unnecessary for guests to take out the trash since we pay a cleaning fee. Perhaps consider eliminating that at check out.
