A Glimpse of Heaven - Mountain Views Year Round

Relax, unwind and refresh with fantastic views of the mountains from each of the three levels in this cabin. Sit by the fireplace and read your favorite novel, use the WiFi to surf the internet, or curl up on the sofa to watch a movie. You are on vacation! Just a short hike up the mountain road offers magnificent breathtaking vistas. Then, watch the day come to a close with a beautiful sunset from the large deck or the hot tub.

A Glimpse of Heaven has a gas grill for those dinners you have been planning. All you need to bring with you is food and beverage. This cabin includes a fully-equipped kitchen, cookware, utensils, dinnerware and flatware. Yes, there is a coffee maker, too! There is an outdoor firepit, just don't forget the firewood. There is also an 8 foot slate top pool table and a large flat screen plasma TV in the game room.

Alpine Helen, in all her Bavarian charm, is only 4 miles up the road. Just as close are numerous hiking trails, Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls. We promise you won't run out of things to do and see while staying with Georgia Mountain Rentals.

Floor Plan: Upstairs = Master king bedroom and a queen bedroom with a shared full bath. Each bedroom has sliding glass doors to the upper deck. Main Floor = Living room, kitchen, half bath and covered porch. Bottom Floor = Game room, and full bath, lower deck with hot tub.

• Minimum Age Requirement: A Glimpse of Heaven is a Luxury Property and is available to families or to guests 25 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: Guests will receive a gate code for the community. The road is dirt and gravel to the steep paved driveway.
• Pets: A Glimpse of Heaven is Not pet-friendly. No pets allowed.
• Location: 5 miles from downtown Helen.

Our stay was nice. It was perfect for our anniversary trip. It was less than a 15 minute drive to Helen. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool. We would definitely stay here again if it was just me and my spouse. It was our first time visiting the area so next time we'd like to bring our kids and dog and would need to find a place that's pet friendly and sleeps at least 6 people.

The cabin was nice.. the view wasn’t as good as it appeared on the listing. The hot tub and fire pit were nice. The gas fireplace was set to low and bbq needed replacement as did some of the furniture and cabinets. The king bed was very comfortable. Windows really needed a cleaning.. the rest of cabin was clean. Just needed some updating

Reviewer Comments: We had family members from New Orleans, Charleston,SC, and Biloxi Beach meet at Glimpse of Heaven cabin for celebrations and we were all were amazed on how wonderful the place was. Not only was the cabin on hill that overlooked mountainous terrain and natures beauty but it was only 15 minutes from the town of Helen where we floated down a cool temp. river, zipped lined, cruised a solo coaster downhill, but ate German, Mexican, and American cousine. The town was beautiful with attraction for all ages. At cabin I sat around firepit as I heard 4 different species of birds chirping/singing in back ground when suddenly a gorgeous Pileated woodpecker flew over my head. This place is heaven! Next year we will be back for a longer stay.

Great Long Weekend stay

Great stay for the family. Plenty of space for our small family of 4. Was nice to be close to Helen and the state parks and have a quiet place to crash and give the cabin feel of quiet and serenity. No issues with checking in late. Loved the stay and would definitely stay here again.
