The property is in a very nice area, with easy access - either walking or by tram - to the old town of Heidelberg. The room itself could have been very nice, if it had curtains (!!), some guidance on what lightswitch does what, and a better maintained shared toilet / bathroom. There are also no parking spaces at the property, so guess have to obtain temporary parking permits from the property for 5Euros for 2hrs, find a parking spot in the surrounding area, and display the permit in the car

Light bulbs were missing - in the hallway and in the room and bathroom. Had to use my handy light to see and unlock the door. The dinner I had was really good though. The room seemed clean but the bathroom could use some work.

The hotel was clean and the downstairs bar had a big screen tv showing the Euro Cup. The drinks were cold and refreshing and the staff was attentive and helpful.

I liked this property, except my door looked like it was kicked in. Also, parking wasn't very convenient. If it wasn't for me getting lucky on finding parking, I would have had none as free parking is limited. However, I slept like a baby and the property was quite beautiful and unique.

They need to improve their check-in. The gentleman doing it told me he was a waiter who helped with check in at night and he didn’t help me carry my bags. He gave me wrong info about when breakfast was, so I showed up too late for breakfast the next morning, but happily the nice lady let me have breakfast anyway. The room was very clean and the food was good.
