The property is in a beautiful quiet location. The house is spacious and modern. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness- it hadn’t been swept or mopped before our arrival, dusty surfaces, cobwebs in windows, weeds growing in balcony which was obviously never swept or cleaned. Dirty sheets in one bedroom. Air conditioning not working in one bedroom. No toilet paper in four bathrooms. No hairdryer. Only 4 towels out for 8 people. The rest was in the wash and we had to put them in dryer. The hot tub only arrived in second day as it had been damaged by previous guests. When it did arrive we had to fill it ourselves which took hours! The connecting tap in the laundry room kept coming off the tap and flooding the downstairs lounge. We had to keep mopping! On the final day of our stay check out was at 11am , however at 9am a team of cleaners and hot tub installers came to dismantle the hot tub while we were trying to have a peaceful breakfast. With grandchildren wanting to make good use of the hot tub, this was disappointing! In addition we booked and paid for a 5 bedroom house. The fifth bedroom was locked and the host said we had to pay extra for the fifth bedroom!!! Outrageous! Our holiday was not a peaceful breakfast!
