The Durant Station Condominiums offer spectacular ocean views and private oceanfront decks. Elevator service to all levels makes this property a convenient choice for all ages: there's no need to haul luggage or groceries up long flights of stairs.

You'll be just a few steps from the ocean via a private wooden walkway. Durant Station also offers a host of amenities, including one of Hatteras Island's largest pools with an adjacent hot tub. The Durant Station Community Center is crowned by the original historic Durant Lifesaving Station tower, a rich piece of Hatteras Island's past. The Community Center is ideal for relaxing with friends, conducting meetings, attending wedding parties and receptions, or simply enjoying the lounge areas which offer a 50-inch plasma TV, a pool table, a gas fireplace, and a complete kitchen on the upper level.

This first-floor, corner condo features a large wraparound sundeck, ocean and sound views, and a position just 20 feet from the community laundry facilities. You'll have four TVs, a VCR, four DVD players, a stereo/CD player, satellite HDTV with DVR, and free high-speed WiFi. Great place

Spacious apartment. Maybe need some refresh but still really comfortable. Great view on te beach and ocean. Easy accessible in wheelchair, except bathrooms. Windows and terrasse a bit dirty. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great vacation spot

My family had a great time at blockade runner. The property was as listed but could use some updating(the baseboards need to be replaced and there was some water damage on the ceiling and walls) The location of property was convenient to the activities we wanted to do as well.

Hatteras Vacay

We loved our stay with a mere 100 steps from the stairs to the sand, a great pool and a comfortable unit. Local restaurants were delicious and people were friendly. Unit was without WiFi (info provided was inaccurate) and the gas grill that was advertised, and deck furniture needs some repair (as did the elevator), but overall we had a great week.

If you bring valuable items, don't leave them! Also, be ready when you turn on the lights.

The property was clean and looked nice. However, we had to kill roaches on two occasions. Not a problem if all the food you have goes in the refrigerator or you don't eat from any surface. Also, don't leave anything of value that you want to keep. You are not likely to get it returned. We made the mistake of leaving my wife's Coach bag in our Hatteras condominium rental. It took four days of calling the Vacasa office to receive a call on the 5th day saying that no bag was found. And without doubt, we left the bag in the condominium.
