One bedroom studio sits in a wide open area. However, it is not secluded. There is a barn that sits to the southwest of the Firefly. The driveway is shared by us, the owners, and you the guests. Our cabin sits 200 feet to the south of the Firefly. If you need us we are here. However, you never have to interact with us unless you wish to. You may see us about on the farm working.

Enjoy the small farm life by watching a flock of ducks, chickens, a couple geese and American Guinea Hogs.
Our farm dogs will probably visit especially if you're cooking on the grill.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a patio and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a microwave, a refrigerator, and a stovetop.

A very Sweet Glamping Suite!

The Firefly is an amazing little spot to relax and decompress. It is set on a small farm, with ducks, chickens, little pigs, and some lovely dogs. The view over the west Michigan hills is awesome. I enjoyed sitting on the deck, and wandering around to take in the ducks and chickens in their very well kept pens. The essentials for camp cooking are there, with a few different options to grill, cook over a fire, or Coleman stove. Rain on the roof one night was an amazing musical composition, with the skylights in play. The owners are on sight, yet I enjoyed complete privacy. If you need anything, they are wonderfully accommodating. The shower was great, and the composting toilet is super easy. The entire Barry County area has lots of beautiful wild land and lakes to enjoy. Oh, and see if they have duck eggs available !! I can't wait to bake with the fresh duck eggs I brought home!! I definitely hope to stay again later this year. Thank you so much for sharing this sweet glamping suite.

Just a quick stay

We were only here for 2 nights. In town to race Barry Roubaix. So we didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the Firefly. But we’d love to come back and spend some time relaxing here. Oh that bed! Perfect place to recover after 100 miles of cold wet bicycle race!
