A fantastic hotel, very helpful, friendly staff, who appeared very happy in their roles. We received effective communication via email previous to our stay, swift responses to enquiries, which was very reassuring and informative. The hotel is in great location. It is within easy walking distance of Harrogate town centre, also on a local bus route. On site parking at competitive rates. The rooms were very clean, extremely comfortable. Well positioned lamps, electric sockets and mirrors. Amazing interior design throughout the hotel. We were especially amused by the photographs of the employees that were hanging in the corridors to the rooms. The period features and furnishing in restaurant were stunning. Our evening meals were well presented, plentyful and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.

The room was clean, spacious and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and any general enquiries as to car parking and directions were answered promptly. Breakfast was tasty. All in all a delightful stay.

The room and bathroom were fresh and clean. The bed and bedding were really comfortable.The breakfast was delicious, everything was fresh and topped up. The public areas had really comfortable seating and it looked freshly decorated and clean. The staff were all friendly. We would definitely stay here again and it is only a flat 10'ish minute walk into the town, train station and bus station.as Highly recommended

Very friendly staff, hotel wS beautifully decorated and very seasonal - this was lovely to see. Breakfast was a good quality and the staff were very helpful and professional. Room was basic, we’ve seen better bathrooms. The shower drain was partially blocked so this caused a back flow of water. The carpet in the room was mildly dirty. However the bed and pillows were comfortable - we slept well. Overall a good stay, we would return but would choose a room upgrade.

Room wasn't ready, no complimentary coffee, room allocated had an adjoining door which I specifically asked Not to have. Moved to room 333, there were no toiletries, not even hand soap to wash hands after toilet! Room was cold and expel air went on forever! At check-in I was told to enter vehicle details which I did and went to pay and put them in again at the pay point! Paid £14 to park when details specify £8. Reception seemed a bit unorganised. Cleaning staff looked miserable and didn't smile or say hello! Food in restaurant was good and breakfast was nice although no veggie sausages or fat free yoghurt! Porch was littered with cigarette stubbs so you may wish to consider a bin! Staff were slow but mainly purposeful, overall 7 out of 10.

Good stay but had to wait 45 minutes as room not ready, told to sit in lounge and someone will let us know when room ready which did not happen. Other than that a good stay.

Just stayed for one night. Room wasn't ready for check in time but the helpful reception staff moved my booking to a different room. Reception desk is too small which causes a backlog of people milling around and getting served out of turn. A couple of false fire alarms gave a rude awakening the next morning. Room was very clean and comfortable but charging your own guests to park in the car park isn't great.

Yes the room carpwts smelled stale. Running wayer was unavailable for half a day destroying plans. Staff did not iffer compensation !

We have had a very enjoyable two night stay at the Cedar Court hotel. A warm welcome greeted us. We had arrived early so we checked in our car and then headed off into town, armed with the map the receptionist gave us. She told us the best way into town! Our actual check in was great a few hours later. Our room was on the second floor and we were very pleased with it. Great size. Lovely bathroom....... Yeah....... It had a bath! The bed was so comfy. Plenty of plug sockets and USB port too. We didn't eat at the hotel but we did have a drink in the bar area. When we next visit Harrogate, we will definitely stay here again. *****

The WiFi was very poor. It was open network without a password, which is very unsafe. It was very unstable, could break 3 times in 30 min. it was also weak. I have seen much better WiFi in the middle of nowhere in Spain.
