Tucked into the countryside outside Harlan, Iowa, my farmstead is surrounded by open fields and no neighbors! Come here to slow down, spread out, reconnect and experience a little slice of country life.

Wake up to beautiful Iowa sunrises from your bedroom window, watch squirrels jump through the trees, explore the property, enjoy the barns and surrounding farmland, and end your day watching the sunset over the fields.

This isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a place to make memories.

Pull on your boots. Get a little dirty. Splash in the mud. Explore. Play outside. Dance in the rain. Take too many pictures. Stay up late talking. Let the kids be kids.

And when you’re ready to come inside, you’ll find plenty of comfortable space for everyone to relax.

Boots & Class comfortably accommodates groups of up to 10 guests but we can discuss more if needed, with:

The house offers the best of both worlds: authentic country living outside and comfortable gathering spaces inside.

Curl up beside the wood-burning fireplace, choose a book from the library, have a family movie night around the large TV, pull out the games and puzzles, cook together in the kitchen or simply find your own quiet corner of the house.

There’s enough room to be together without feeling like you’re on top of each other — one of our guests’ favorite things about the home.

And for kids? This may be one of the best hide-and-seek houses they’ve ever encountered.
