Alles OK

Für uns hat die Unterkunft gut gepasst. Schade fanden wir aber, dass nur 2 der 4 Herdplatten funktionieren. Einige Funktionen des Backofens sowie die Dunstabzughaube funktionieren auch nicht. Es gibt auch sehr wenige Tassen.Für einen längeren Aufenthalt ist das alles etwas umständlich und es sollte evtl. im Onlineinserat erwähnt werden, denn wir haben den Eindruck, dass es eine Art Dauerzustand ist. Unseren Kindern hat es dennoch sehr gut gefallen, unser kleinster durfte sogar ein Plüschtier mitnehmen, das fanden wir sehr freundlich.

Knus en gezellig

Wij vonden het een gezellig huisje in een authentieke boerderij. Leuk om hier een aantal dagen te verblijven samen met ons gezin van 3 kinderen. Er is veel speelgoed en een leuke speeltuin op kleine afstand van de achtertuin. Wat verbeterpunten: 2 van de 4 pitten van de kookplaat werkten niet en de wasmachine maakt een enorme herrie. Maar verder was alles netjes schoon en leuk ingericht.

Our hosts made us feel very welcomed and accommodated our dropping our bags and roof top luggage before travelling down from Brussels to Bastogne for a day trip before settling in. Pascal was especially helpful in our planning of our few nights in the area, as well as organising food for New Year's Eve celebrations. The cottage was comfortable and I especially enjoyed a few days without my children (35, 18 and 17) not constantly glued to their devices, as this cozy cottage is made for excellent quality time with loved ones. It would have been especially good if it was not the heart of winter, as we weren't able to properly use the outdoors, other than for our puppy to have a run around. If you are looking for an escape, but still want a bit of Wifi access (just in case!), this is the place for you :)

Beautiful cottage, lovely hosts

The property was lovely, an old stone farmhouse, fully equipped with everything we needed. Thermostat made sure we were always warm and we also used the burner stove - wonderful! Only thing to note is the steep spiral staircase up to the bedroom, so this property would not be suitable for those with access needs. For us it was perfect.

Gerne wieder

Wir und die Kinder haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, aber etwas mehr Besteck könnte es geben und die beiden defekten Herdplatten sind etwas unglücklich.

Heel fijn huis in een mooie omgeving!

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Mooi, leuk ingericht huisje in een karakeristiek hofje. De prachtige omgeving leende zich goed voor verschillende uitstapjes (wandelingen, bezoekje aan de grotten, kajakken, electrisch MTB-en).

We hebben twee heerlijke dagen in dit leuke huisje gelogeerd als break op de terugreis van onze vakantie in Frankrijk. Mooie omgeving! Het huisje was netjes, schoon en gezellig ingericht.

Super séjour

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre sejour d'une semaine dans cette maison, Tres fraiche, calme, avec un voisinage sympathique, dog friendly. Nous avons apprécié les équipements, basiques mais suffisant. (Un micro-ondes aurait tout de meme ete apprécié). Nous avons profité de la terrasse et jarin pour faire des bbq. Beaucoup de jouets et livres pour notre fille qui na meme pas sortis les siens. Le seul point a noter est la chambre parentalee, déconseillée a partir dun certain age (escalier exiguë et poutre en plein milieu pour acceder au lit)., mais pour nous ca n'a pas entaché notre séjour. On reviendra !

Parfait pour les amoureux de la nature

Français souhaitant découvrir la Wallonie, nous avons séjourné ici et ce fut un ravissement. Maison idéale avec des enfants, les nôtres ont pu s'amuser avec les jeux de ceux des propriétaires et ont dévoré leurs livres. Spot au top pour des vacances à la campagne. Tolles Haus mit viel Charme

Schöner Aufenthalt

Uns hat die Ferienwohnung sehr gut gefallen. Eine toll ausgestattete Küche war das Herzstück der Wohnung, hier ist alles vorhanden, was man in einer Küche so braucht. Und noch mehr: Salz, Gewürze, Müsli, Zucker, Mehl. Ausreichend Töpfe und Schüsseln. Allerdings funktionierten gerade zwei Herdplatten nicht. Der Kamin mit der kleinen Sitzbank drumherum hat uns gut gefallen, die Kinder haben die kleine Sitzbank geliebt. Die Kinderzimmer sind gemütlich und voller Spielzeug. Ein Erlebnis für die Kinder :) Auch die Badewanne hat uns gut gefallen. Mein Mann fand die vielen leeren Whiskyflaschen toll. Er hat sie allabendlich studiert. :) Der Garten ist richtig schön, allerdings hatten wir kein gutes Wetter zum Draußensitzen. Alles in allem hat es uns richtig gut gefallen. Danke! :)

Beautiful home and surroundings. Would saty again

We loved this place but i will mention a few negatives first. 1. Its cold. The heating does not work despite strictly following instructions of only pressing +/-. The boiler did seem to try but i think the pressure needs topping up as nothing circulated and the pipes never got above luke warm by the boiler. We tried the fire but we wasnt sure how you control the air flow and. Entilation so it was hard to keep the fire going. 2. Washing machine does not work as it has a fault code F21. I belive this is a blockage. However, we had put our clothes in and tipped in washing liquid over the clothes so we had to spend an hour washing them in the bath and lobger wringing them out and trying to dry. Had we known the fault prior we would have left it alone. 3. There is no TV as advertised. Nor.ally not a major issue but i had plans to watch a big football match and brought the equipment with me to hook up to a TV to watch. There was no TV so i missed the game. 4. I dont think the sheets had been washed on the beds and the crockery and cutlery was not clean. Not the owners fault as i think he pays someone to clean and i dont think they are doing it properly or thoroughly. 5. Notnowners fault but some moron with a black car from the NL with a trailor with bicycles on and blocked the entrance to the courtyard so we had to unload in the rain at night from theroad, good stuff. The negatives are small and we absolutely loved the house & location. So many nice touches

Patrimoine super et original , très bel environnement même sous la pluie ( Toussaint) Nombreux livres et jeux. Mais Mauvaise literie, lit au raz du sol, accès en passant sous une poutre à 1,40 du sol Lave vaisselle inefficace refaire à main La mise en route du grill du four déclenche le détecteur de fumée GROSSE difficulté pour couper l’eau delà douchette Pas d’assise réellement confortable En conclusion , séjour de 3 nuits, un peu stressant

Heel prettig

Wij(gezin met 3 Kids van 9 tot 11)hebben 5 heerlijke dagen gehad in het authentieke huisje. Je gaat even terug de tijd in,super mooie wandelingen gemaakt,de schapen die in het binnenhof verblijven werden ook elke dag even bezocht.heerlijke jam gekocht bij de eigen jam-maker. Heerlijke biefstuk van een streekboer gehaald en gegeten. Ook het stadje durbuy is een aanrader om even te vertoeven. Kortom een fijne vakantie gehad en kan het aanraden,houd je van luxe moet je hier niet zijn. Gr fam mettler

mooie karakteristieke plek! In historisch hofje met meer gezinnen

Het huisje en de directe omgeving ademen geschiedenis. Je maakt een reis in de tijd en bent een paar honderd jaar terug. Het huisje is compleet ingericht, de familie gebruikt het zelf ook nog af en toe. Het is heel smaakvol gedaan met veel originele details. Je ziet dat de eigenaren echte wijnliefhebbers zijn! Soms is de indeling wat onhandig, je moet op zolder onder een lage balk door om de masterbedroom te betreden, maar dat is ook de charme van het huisje. De slaapkamer van de ouders op zolder heeft een open trapgat naar beneden. Dat geeft wat geluidsoverlast als niet iedereen op dezelfde tijd naar bed gaat. We hadden 1 nacht zonder warm water en moesten koud douchen. Dat lostte zich vanzelf op de volgende morgen. Foutje in het verwarminssysteem? De directe buren in het hof zijn erg aardig. Er zijn veel kinderen en een stuk of vier honden. Verwacht niet teveel privacy maar ervaar het lokale leven van het dorp. Wij hadden een paar hele fijne dagen!

Heel leuk verblijf gehad. Het huisje is heel gezellig. Ideaal voor kinderen. Een tuin, 2 badkamers, wasmachine zijn zeker een pluspunt.

Huiselijk

Fijne welkome sfeer, fijne huiselijke plek en voorzien van alles. Tip; er was geen extra vuilniszak vinden, handig wel om zelf mee te nemen. Houtkachel is heerlijk, bedden zijn prima!
