Achingly hip hotel overlooking St Pauli Stadium and right next door to Feldstrasse U Bahn. Rooftop garden is a major tourist attraction and you have lift access like a VIP. A unique hotel experience everyone coming to Hamburg should try it!

There is simply nowhere else like this to stay! Whilst in Hamburg seeing friends, we thought why stay somewhere ordinary, when we can stay in this uniquely historic monument that has been brilliantly converted into a really cool hotel! Super comfy & well designed room (we went with a King bed suite), with a really great shower! Don't expect the Hard Rock Cafe to be here, as I did (my only disappointment). The history of the place is fascinating and the rooftop views are worth the stairs! Reception's great. Found the staff in the top restaurant to be somewhat disinterested & a bit stuffy. Definitely more friendly, fun & funky in the bar down by the reception. Great local foods market & the very lively Reeperbahn on the doorstep!

Niche hotel experience in Hamburg. A truly unique experience. Located at the top of a World War bunker, a major tourist attraction in it's own right. Hotel is clean, modern but not like any other hotel in its set up. There's no bar, no restaurant and just a small reception area...but there are a restaurant and coffee shop on the same floor for residents to use. Decent location.. Great views over Hamburg. Small clean modern rooms. Internet tv, Alexa in the room is a nice touch. 25 mins walk to the river, 20 to the Reeperbahn. UBahn is next to hotel for easy transport options including the airport. Enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Would stay again

When we actually saw the bunker, as it is known, it just looked so cool. The actual hotel entrance was on the opposite side to where we came out of the U bahn. The room was better than we expected, it was long and narrow, but had plenty of space for us. The doors were extremely heavy, but went with the bunker theme. The room was very clean, the bed was really comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

A Unique and Quiet Stay

I loved this hotel. I was drawn to it because it’s built on top of a former flak tower, making it a truly unique place to stay. The hotel is completely self-enclosed, so you don’t get strangers walking past your room—despite what some reviews falsely claim. The room itself was clean, warm, and offered a beautiful view of Hamburg. I was also impressed by how quiet it was. This was especially notable because the tower has a performance stage, and a German rock band was playing that night—yet we heard nothing. There are several restaurants on-site, and we tried two of them—both were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel, and if I’m ever back in Hamburg, I will stay here again.

Details...

First, the staff are friendly and nice. The rooms and beding are clean and new. The shrubs around our balcony were slightly overgrown, but cute. My issue was, i knew i signed up to a hotel under a nightclub, with a concert hall in it. What i didn't clock was that the bar, hall, rooftop bar and restaurant and even coffee shop would close for private events. We were told it's because we chose to visit for the Christmas market. So you can't eat or drink on site most of the weekend. And the club hosts wedding karaoke until 2am, which you are definitely not invited too, but sound insulation to the 4th floor is non existent, so you will need to suffer through nonetheless.
