Close to central station, so easy to travel around but area is not clean. But hotel was great. Lived on 5th floor, and it was most quiet hotel I have been in. Twin beds confortable, but a bit small for a larger person.

Breakfast is too expensive for the options they offer. It’s more convenient to have breakfast at any of the restaurants that surround the hotel. The bed is super comfortable and the property’s location is close to public transportation and central station.

Staying at the Niu was a mixed experience, both good and bad. The good points first - the included breakfast contained a lot of variety (a lot more than other hotels), the staff were quite friendly, the artwork was lovely and the Internet speed was good. Additionally, the room was quite modern and the presentation of the room was good. I was also not penalised because I was late (due to a delay in trains) - but I don't know if this was to do with Expedia or to do with the hotel itself. Unfortunately, these points were marred a little by the fact the bathroom (and shower especially) was small, the room was super warm (noting, in fairness, it was summer and I was on the top story) and there was no air conditioning. There also seemed to be some discrepancy - in the first two days - between whether I had paid for the included breakfast (which I had via Expedia) or not and I had to spend a bit of time with Expedia to check and reach out to the hotel. To be fair, this is not a terrible hotel, it's a reasonable hotel, but to take it from an 'okay' hotel to a good or great hotel would be the introduction of (reverse cycle) air con, better signage from the outside and consolidating records rather than my having to go back to Expedia to sort out whether I can have breakfast in the hotel or not.

Customer service or customer satisfaction seems lost in the transaction after several times engaging with the Host face-to-face at the front desk. I wonder whether diversity training has reached this employer to improve profit margin. For diversity, the neighbourhood seems friendly to the eyesore of a sex shop, prostitutes and refugees roaming hopelessly and waiting for their next victim. Be careful with your mobile phones, wallet and purse. I will not even inform my worse enemy to book this accommodation. There was no fridge in the room or air conditioning. Contrary to what was been promoted as a global chain of Hotels with five stars. Not Disabled and LGBTQ friendly. We hope you enjoy your stay with Novum Style Hotel Hamburg-Centrum the niu Fusion.

Expensive with no value

Incredible expensive and really mediocre accommodation. Room claustrophobic small. Low light, even in a bathroom. No A/C so needed to have a window open the whole time to have some air. That meant tons of noice, from people in that "lovely" neighborhood, police cars and ambulances, construction work, house keeping at ungodly hours etc. Breakfast very simple. This is not a place i would ever consider returning again.

The worst hotel in Germany

I would say this is the worst hotel I have never stayed , firstly the check in takes ages I waited 20 mins , and then there is no shower gel , ( the bottle was empty)more importantly they don’t allow me to have a guest , they stop my friend to my room ,this is so hilarious,
