Our room was small but cute. One window with an electronic shade. Air conditioner did not work. We were awakened at 5:30 AM by the kitchen crew. Apparently the kitchen was below our room (and the laundry right next door). Loud talking, phones ringing, etc. We loved the area where the hotel was located and could walk easily to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was average. coffee machine was on the blink so coffee was not available to hotel guests. Front desk was OK but when sharing the news about the noise was indifferent. Don't stay in room A002. We would return to Komlo Hotel with, of course, a different room!

What a lovely town Gyula is and what a good find the Komlo Hotel was too! I was only here for a few nights but found the staff, food and general condition of the hotel to be excellent. My only gripe would be the lighting in the room - It was either blindingly bright or nightlight dim. All in all it would be my first choice if I'm ever in Gyula again.

It's an excellent location. The hotel is clean, really nice, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff is absolutely welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great. Some of the issues are minor, like a trashcan would be useful in the room, the safe should work with a code (not with a ridiculous "key"), Providing L'Occitaine products in the bathroom is appreciated but a soap bar was truly missed. Although the bathroom was really nice, the vanity is too small and awkward for a 4-star hotel. The mirror unit and its shelf is in the way if someone wants to lean over for a facewash, especially, since there was enough space for a bigger and more convenient solution. However, overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel - value for money

Nice hotel with good restaurants. Staff are friendly and serviced minded but rarely speak English so I had to use google translate a lot - which was fine :-) Food in restaurant is super 👌

Nagyon kedves a személyzet a hotelben, a reggeli kifogástalan és minőségi. Az udvarra néző superior szobában nem lehet ablakot nyitni, mert a konyha szaga elárasztja a szobát. Az erkélyen nem lehet lekapcsolni a világítást, mert központilag szabályozott (ez nagy pazarlás és kellemetlen) a szobában a szekrénybe szükséges lenne világítás, mert semmilyen fény nincs itt, így nem lehet látni. Telefonnal világítottunk.

Pozitív: - a személyzet nagyon kedves, segítőkész volt - a szoba és amúgy az egész hotel tiszta, rendezett. - a szobában nagyon sok konnektor volt, nagy plusz érte!! - ágyak kényelmesek, a rengeteg volt a pakoló hely (szekrények, komódok) - bőséges reggeli Negatív: - a szobában hangyák voltak (erre lehetett volna figyelni, egy rendszeres irtással megelőzni) - a szobában a redőnyök egyike sem működött, végig úgy voltak ahogy épp utolsó működésükkor megálltak (felengedve, félig leeresztve, teljesen besötétítve). Jeleztük, de a javítás az ott tartózkodásunk alatt nem történt meg. A hibáról úgy tűnt már értesültek, csak számunkra volt meglepetés - a reggeli választéka csak a tradicionális lehetőségeket kínálta (vegánként nem igen lehetett reggelizni). Ezt kis odafigyeléssel megoldhatták volna, pl "konzerv" "pástétomok", különböző krémek (humusz, avokádókrém, padlizsánkrém)...stb formájában amelyek hosszútávon is tárolhatóak, így még különösebb veszteség sem keletkezne az esetleges kevesebb fogyasztás miatt - a gyönyörűen berendezett lobbiban a kényelmes kanapék bőr(?) ülőfelületei rendkívül kopott, majdhogynem szakadt állapotúak voltak. Egy dekorít pléddel, párnákkal nagyságrendekkel jobb benyomást tehetett volna. A sakktáblához kitett sakkóra nem működött. Ekkor inkább ne tegyék ki ha tudják, hogy rossz. Konnektor itt egyáltalán nem volt, pedig töltés miatt hasznos lett volna.
